Remove ratings from reports/unbans

We have nice servers, but our forums can be really uncivilized at times.
Maybe limit them to just agree and disagree maybe?

If you're going to make that argument, why not remove them site-wide? You think people are going to say "Oh look at Skial! They are so great. They didn't call me dumb when I asked to be unbanned, only when I made a legitimate post!"?
If you were recently banned from Skial servers and you came onto the forum to state your reason to be unbanned and did it in an intellectual and believable manner, only to have it ruined by one or two people rating your post dumb, starting a chain reaction where everyone else feels the need to follow suit and rate said post dumb, wouldn't you feel like that's an uncivilized forum?
In my opinion, while sometimes ratings may be great and at some times they may be un-necessary, I did enjoy Skial back when you were only abler to rate things using Like.
Let's do a quick screnario, shall we?
New person joins the forums to contest a ban by a horrible admin named after a zoo animal.
New accounts generated on here have ratings give alerts by default.
Despite being repentant and offering to do what's required of him (which ultimately is just wait out the ban), he gets 8 ratings telling him he's dumb, the majority by people who aren't even admins.
"Gee, Skial's wonderful."
My point is, if they give us a bad light in un-ban threads why wouldn't they in all of the other threads?
Because a significant amount of people come here to contest their bans. They're usually ignorant and don't know the rules and don't have much play time, admittedly, but that doesn't change the fact that they deserve a decimal of respect, which I wouldn't understand most non-admins who don't give 2 shits about how we look to understand.
I think the point is that at the section for un-bans all the admins get "dumb"-rates because they are in their right to give a ban. Which starts counting on the rate list which makes certain people look a bit dumb while they aren't. Some deserve rated dumb, some don't. But if you are mad you rate everyone's respond dumb. I think. Didn't got banned yet so I don't know. ^^
The real problem is all the dumb comments from people that aren't contributing anything to the thread or people saying things to the person who was banned like they know what they're talking about. Bad ratings don't make us look half as bad as that does.
Plus why would you want to take away their right to rate my post dumb/disagree/troll when I tell them they aren't getting unbanned?

I don't know if it's my lack of sleep, or what. But I really can't understand this.
maybe ban/report threads just shouldn't be accessible (comment and rate wise) by non-admin members
