Remove ratings from reports/unbans

I considered that. But there's times when admins can't check reports, and older forum users can handle unbans and such themselves, that don't require admin abilities. Such as ban times and rules.
Instead of this, maybe limit it to regulars or people who can access the Contributor's Club, so instead of everyone and their mother having access of the thread to put their two cents in, we allow access to only a small group of people, usually the ones that actually have their heads on straight.
Still no because people who are new to the forums can have evidence or information regarding a ban.
This is pointless. Removing dumb ratings will only increase dumb comments and if you all care so much about looking bad then you'll just stop rating/posting in ban appeals unless it's been resolved or incredibly stupid to begin with. In which case they should know everyone thinks they are dumb.
perhaps there should be a new rule where members that post unhelpful comments on ban/report threads intentionally will be punished under the rule "spamming", or someshitfuckidontknow.
It isn't in the least-fucking-bit difficult to say that you're sorry they broke the rules, but that's what they are, and we enforce them. They don't have to know that they're dumb, because that just makes them go around and trash talk us.
One would hope that others would recognize the stupidity, but everyone continually doing that is building a goddamn brigade of people who all agree alongside said idiot.
There is no reason for us to treat people we ban like shit, regardless of how they treat us or how they act.
Also: Having people who have literally 0 say on what the hell we do taking it upon themselves to police the Reports section (no offense intended, Astir) is bullshit. We have had people assume that the admins are treating them like trash in their threads, when it's really just a bunch of forum users lurking in there and being offensive. The guy assumes that only admins can view the "Reports" section and address the accused, as it should be, in my opinion.
I'm talking about the ones with utterly pathetic appeals. If it gets denied they are just going to trash talk us anyway. I don't think they should be treated like shit either. But 6 forum members rating their pathetic appeal "dumb" isn't going to change anything.
And like I said it won't stop stupid/pointless comments.
Perhaps we should stop them, then.
And yeah, certain other admins (SAI-LOW-SIS, etc) and I have resolved otherwise angry idiots doing appeals via PM's, away from a group of non-admin imbeciles trolling through a section they shouldn't even be in. They calm down and wait out their bans.
Not having people getting "ALERT"s at the top of the page of random people calling them Dumb and not having several people all call them retarded while posting useless pictures doesn't help us in the slightest.
You have to see it this way maybe: you get bad ratings from those who got banned so the real members who behave better know that. Unless you aren't an admin and get that many bad rates. Then you can start thinking to care a bit about the rates and howcome you got them. So if you are admin and care about rates, know that we know you probably didn't deserverd the amount of bad rates you got.
Also regulars here know who is nice and who isn't so don't worry. ^^

Hey, look. I get that. I'm saying that why is it SO BAD to be a passive-agressive asshole in that one part of the site rather than all of it? Don't all people who come here to post deserve a 'decimal of respect'? Shouldn't we, as a whole, just you know...not encourage people to be dicks?
