Forums mods simply need to enforce the already existing warning and delete shitposts/take action against shitposters.

I also think there should be a forum rule against posting in the reports/ban section if your post does not contain relevant information.

I'm not vain. I'm just to good to get dumb rates. Jk. My first two posts got dumb-rates instant so I was like: not going to post ever again then. Yet, here I am. Annoying people. ^^
 
On second thought I agree with removing ratings from the bans section but not from the reports section.

Most of the reports are from the Reporter bot anyway and there is nothing wrong with rating agree/disagree with people who make reports. The bans section is usually used for appeals and a ton of negative ratings on genuine appeals (even if they are stupid and don't understand how teletraps could be wrong) is pointless.

I use ratings as little as possible, and pretty much the only time I do rate something in the Bans section is a useful/informative. I honestly don't understand why people, especially some forum regs, like to make fun of the people who come here to contest a ban, or give insight on some rule-breaking.

Especially bad is when a poor guy from Ecuador comes on here and tries to make an appeal, while everyone is rating his post confusing because they obviously don't understand that English isn't everyones first language.

I agree with Mitten's alternative, keep it for reports, remove it from bans.
 
From what I looked at I think ratings should be removed from bans and still allowed in reports.

I looked around both sections and reports really isn't that bad most ratings were either positive or there were none at all but bans on the other hand is a negative cesspool of people making fun of OPs generally stupid unban request.

Also like CiniC said we should just enforce the rules that are already in place their
