Writing "hurr durr" on the voting option you disagree with doesn't make your point more valid.
except our rules aren't stupid like tf2op rulesWe're in the bag for proffesionalism!
Hell yeah let's be as proffesional as TF2OP! It's a gaming forum based on hats ofc!
except our rules aren't stupid like tf2op rules
thisthen just delete the stupid/pointless comments
and thisI think as long as this is enforced, changing ratings isn't necessary. If shitposting in the support section gets punished and people who come with a problem leave with a solution, they won't care about a 16x16 icon someone assigned to their post.
I also think there should be a forum rule against posting in the reports/ban section if your post does not contain relevant information.
Some people are just not worthy to reply maybe. So let it be then.
Also, I read your profile page and I think that dumb rates here is nothing then.

I'm not vain. I'm just to good to get dumb rates. Jk. My first two posts got dumb-rates instant so I was like: not going to post ever again then. Yet, here I am. Annoying people. ^^Ratings are like "likes" on Facebook, you only care them about if you're vain.
This thread sure went somewhere fast.
To an extent. We all kept it nice and proffesional.
On second thought I agree with removing ratings from the bans section but not from the reports section.
Most of the reports are from the Reporter bot anyway and there is nothing wrong with rating agree/disagree with people who make reports. The bans section is usually used for appeals and a ton of negative ratings on genuine appeals (even if they are stupid and don't understand how teletraps could be wrong) is pointless.
I think this is a really effective solution, except I would like to see it go as far as disabling all ratings in those sections. It would allow us to rate Introduction posts as "Friendly" and would curb harassment of members who are filing ban appeals or reports. There's no need for ratings in the report/bans sections. The only input in those threads should be from people directly involved, not the entire Skial peanut gallery.
