Need Supporters Should Admins ban for sprays.

This question has come up time and time again, and threads like this one have come up times and times again. I want this one to be different, I want this one to come to a decision. I'm not saying an out-right ban. I would follow this example warn, kick, then ban for a day if the problem persists.
This is very open for discussion, all I ask is that you stay on topic.
Edit: Now when I say offensive I'm talking about a majority, if one person finds it offensive but everyone else is fine with it, I don't think anything should be done. But then an Admin personal beliefs would come into play This is a very difficult topic, please think critically.
Let's take this to an extreme let's say someone was spray an animal being harmed in some way (I don't want to go into specifics) and people get very offended by it. An admin comes in and removes it, the person is warned. they spray it again and then they get kicked. They come back and spray it again, then they should receive a 1 day ban, so on and so forth.

Removal of the spray and an explanation, kick if it is resprayed more than twice. Not a ban.

i agree that a kick would be the way better option in the last situation, the problem was more-so that the guy in question wasn't aware of the warning, a kick (or trade request) would've gotten the message across, although i'm glad he got banned because we got the talk about offensiveness again, so hopefully none of this stuff has to happen again (although it will).

Absolutely agree. It should be outlined in the Rules that an Admin reserves a right to kick an offender upon failure to comply with demand to stop spraying.

i'm definitely not 100% opposed to the suggestion (although i prefer people to grow some skin and deal with the occasional pornographic spray), but the rules would have to get altered to personally compliment individual players. for convenience, let's just bring out the topic that probably sparked this suggestion: today people got offended by a porn spray, if we put the spray in a different time (and with different people playing), there's the chance that nobody would get offended by it. the kind of message it brings that new rules get created on the spot if an audience is vocal enough is very gimmicky, and would be a pain the ass.

the point is that if you remove one thing, you would have to remove other things to keep certain people happy, if you cater to people who solely get offended by dick-pictures, it'll come off as homophobic because there really isn't any/a lot of people who get their tits in a twist about a naked woman for instance, it's a double standard that is bound to hurt some people in the long run.

this really isn't new by the way, democracy has shown it's way in votemenu as well, some time ago i had the names "pr1mus f2p" and "[homosexual alliance] pr1mus" (not that i'm f2p or gay, but that's besides the point), they votemuted me, called me shit and tried votebanning me, solely because they figured "hurr stupid f2p noob" and "hurr stupid faggot ban faggots". if votemenu didn't exist, would admins also be obliged to follow suit whenever enough biased idiots gather together to make one giant stupid point?

i really don't care for sprays at all, even if people had the option to turn one specific spray off (heck, people could also choose NOT to look at it); they'd rather just stare at the spray they hate so much and not shut up about it because they want to see 'justice'.

I think some people whose only purpose is to disrupt the gameplay by insulting people or spraying offensive sprays get away too easy because "it isn't in the rules". It means the rules are wrong, not that it's allowed.

I'm all for this idea. Sometimes you'll get the awesome sprays, with funny sayings, or close up pics of extremely supple or bouncy tits, but I was pubbing yesterday and found some dude who probably jumped right out of a KKK meetings. He kept screaming "White power, burn the n****rs" over the Mic, and had a black guy being brutally murdered as his Spray. It was a Valve Server, so of course he was allowed to stick around.

how could opinions be obvious? what you find disturbing and what other people find disturbing could include a variety of different things, that's why such rules are kept vague.
