This question has come up time and time again, and threads like this one have come up times and times again. I want this one to be different, I want this one to come to a decision. I'm not saying an out-right ban. I would follow this example warn, kick, then ban for a day if the problem persists.
This is very open for discussion, all I ask is that you stay on topic.
Edit: Now when I say offensive I'm talking about a majority, if one person finds it offensive but everyone else is fine with it, I don't think anything should be done. But then an Admin personal beliefs would come into play This is a very difficult topic, please think critically.
Let's take this to an extreme let's say someone was spray an animal being harmed in some way (I don't want to go into specifics) and people get very offended by it. An admin comes in and removes it, the person is warned. they spray it again and then they get kicked. They come back and spray it again, then they should receive a 1 day ban, so on and so forth.

I think some sprays shouldn't be allowed, but I'm kind of Dutch-liberal so I don't think there should be too many restrictions. I think sprays with sex material involving fecal matter should be kickable, as well as extreme gore (stuff like this: http://rotten.com [Not safe for view]). Stuff like this disturbs most people, but isn't illegal. Child pornography and beastiality should be banned on sight, obviously, since it's illegal in most civilized countries.

People who are afraid of dicks/vaginas or sex in general should just live with it, since they'll most likely experience sex at some point in their lives.

OK so heres what I got so far.

We shouldn't ban for obvious offensive sprays, perhaps a removal and a warning, then a kick and if the problem persists then a 30 min ban or so.

We should however ban for extremely disturbing sprays (Ex. A dog being run over by a car) for 30 mins or so.

Any opinions?

sprays shouldn't be bannable unless it's child pornography or something illegal, until then i do think the warning&spray removal > (kick) > temp. ban for strike three is a good system.

because it's the only server where people don't treat them like the autistic neckbearded children they are.

I lol'd first at you putting bronies/furries in the same category, then headdesked when you said this.

Anyway. Especially offensive sprays, or sprays that can't be sprayed over, should be a kickworthy offense. Either illegal, or extremely disturbing. But admins shouldn't be able to ban for sprays that aren't blatantly illegal.

Talking of which, some sprays can be seen even after the person who has sprayed them has left. Is this a glitch or something?

I thought sprays went to the default, pink and black or something?
they eventually do, the server's spray cache clears itself on a regular basis. I guess the pink and black results when the spray isn't completely downloaded to the usercache before the server clears it. my usercache has some sprays that are corrupted/incomplete
