Need Supporters Should Admins ban for sprays.

This question has come up time and time again, and threads like this one have come up times and times again. I want this one to be different, I want this one to come to a decision. I'm not saying an out-right ban. I would follow this example warn, kick, then ban for a day if the problem persists.
This is very open for discussion, all I ask is that you stay on topic.
Edit: Now when I say offensive I'm talking about a majority, if one person finds it offensive but everyone else is fine with it, I don't think anything should be done. But then an Admin personal beliefs would come into play This is a very difficult topic, please think critically.
Let's take this to an extreme let's say someone was spray an animal being harmed in some way (I don't want to go into specifics) and people get very offended by it. An admin comes in and removes it, the person is warned. they spray it again and then they get kicked. They come back and spray it again, then they should receive a 1 day ban, so on and so forth.

No they don't. You're essentially saying an asshole who wants to be disruptive has some kind of god-given right to do so. I have nothing against pornographic material, per se. But there's a time and a place for it, and a game of TF2 is neither time nor place for that crap. I don't want to see it and you're essentially telling me I have to be punished because I don't want to see some random cock or vag every time I rollout of spawn?

offensive is different for each individual, if you get offended by a picture of a dick then it's something you have to deal with, if you want to ban people for using dick sprays, then you have to automatically ban people for a lot of other rules to cater to certain people, allowing boobs but disallowing dicks would bring up certain homophobic rulings.

i mean, the probability that some people in the future complain about an entirely different spray is very probable, offensiveness isn't an universal understanding, i don't get offended by dicks; some other people do, i would be sad if the servers rulings would be altered to the people who can't stomach anything.

I don't think anyone thinks it should be instaban, but it should be removed and the player should be kicked. A good rule of thumb is if you wouldn't put it on Primetime TV, then you probably shouldn't put it on the wall of a TF2 server.

Banning for the sprays themselves? No.

Banning because the sprayer is disobeying a mod? Yes.

Just because someone is offended doesn't make them right, and as far as the rules go, the only forbidden sprays are imagery the server's country finds illegal.

Earlier today someone had claimed to have been banned for a spray, and I'd have supported their appeal had they not suggested the mod was homophobic and he hadn't insulted people in the server about it.
