Here is why we made the right choice.

• Lag or packet loss will never make you run faster. If the server doesn't get a packet from you, it will assume you are moving at the same velocity as before. If it ends out that you stopped moving before you reconnected to the server, the server will teleport you backwards. It will never speed you up.
• Just because you have a low KD doesn't prove you weren't hacking.
  In fact most of the hackers detected beyond a reasonable doubt by SMAC either have very low or high KDs. They probably use hacks because they are tired of sucking.

• We asked for a donation because ever since F2P, cheaters don't suffer a financial penalty. If you don't like it, donate to a charity in our name.
  We aren't made of money so we aren't going to say no to being paid for the overhead of monitoring you for more cheating.
• You trying to stir up shit on Reddit. "Then I might just tell them all to go to hell."

I don't think he should run around until a decision is made, but I think he should have already been un-banned by now. There is zero evidence that he did anything wrong. Just one person who thinks he might have done it.

I was going to stop reading this thread, but thanks to receiving 4 dumbs, I'm going to go ahead and show everyone how wrong you are again.

* Cheaters typically do not engage in this conduct on VAC secured servers (for obvious reasons) / their regular servers or anywhere where they have a history of playing...they do after all want to keep playing there.

Regulars have cheated on our servers before. Getting intentionally caught is almost never the plan. See people like Newo, D@hveed (Scrambles The Death Dealer), etc. Go ahead and search for them.

* Cheaters do not start 6 page threads and solicit advice from what appears to be another large gaming community to try and help.
