Closed Handsome Defibyoulater's Adminpliaction

I don't think defib should have his app taken away from consideration for this. He passes with flying colors.

He knows all of the server rules backward and forward, He obviously wants admin to help players and the server, he doesn't want it to just have power over everyone else.
He's very optimistic and has a very large patience. He has a high connection time to skial servers, along with a large amount of hours on team fortress 2.
He knows how to use the commands, and he's very willing to help skial, hell he's donated 100 times, he's also donated 10 dollars in my name.

He broke one rule, and he didn't intend to break said rule. He should still have the consider rating on this application.

In the past two weeks he has received two warnings for spam. This is the second warning.

We don't reward people for bad behavior.

I am not saying defib is a bad person, but he has broken a rule twice within two weeks.

True this, we all know how defib is capable of actually be a great admin, just because he did a stupid thing doesn't mean he can't be an good admin

I heard your contract is ending pretty soon zebra, plan on renewing it?
 
Rate spamming is not to my tastes and I don't get it but honestly, Defib is one of the coolest people I know. That doesn't mean just because he is cool that he should deserve to be considered but.... I mean... I dunno I just really don't feel it fair that he would be marked as such.

I don't necessarily think they're declining it for the sole-purpose of him rate spamming. As Zebra said, this was the second warning he got for the same offense. You'd expect someone to stop once they realize what they did was wrong, not continue.

Still, harsh that it was declined for those reasons, but it was more than likely a collaborated decision and not one only made by Zebra.

Okay, first of all I'd like to say thank you for all your guys' input (Except for Ceubie's common snide remarks)

Secondly, when I said I didn't intentionally mean to rate spam people via threads from 3 years ago (Those in the General Section), it's because I didn't have the intention of bothering people. Like, I wasn't attempting to be a troll. I was being a silly, and doing something stupid which was making all my Given Rates 610. I know what you're thinking ... why the hell would you wanna do that? Like in KillerZebra's chat photo, I stated I have a slight "uniformity Issue?" (if that's the proper term?). I specifically went though (and I know this sounds silly) went through no longer active peoples' posts, such as (Mark, Roman) to insure I wasn't bothering anyone. I may have accidentally bum-rated a bunch of @ClassyPotato 's and JD's stuff, and when I noticed they came online I sent them for forgiveness and my apologies.

Whether or not rate-spamming is officially illegal or legal by skial forum rules, it is something that none of us should commit. It's something I definitely wish I had never done. And I absolutely hand out my reguards and apologies to whom I may have bothered with it.

Another thing is when Zebra stated I had a spam warning is because I might have kept posting on reports and stuff :X (Whoopsies)

Friendly guy, but if you react poorly to someone trolling you on an application, how are you going to react to someone trolling you in game?

Admins have to put up with a lot of shit.
 
Fuck, a warning is just that: 'a warning' it's not a punishment for bad behaviour. I think defib would make a decent admin, he appears to be commited to Skial, has the ability to be an admin; and what's more admits his shortcomings. Nobody is perfect and clicking on a few ratings to satisfy his OCD doesn't make him unsuitable. Don't forget that these warnings were given by a moderator that has been known to troll people in game by making them think he is using roflbox and posts pictures of his doll sitting on the toilet, not really one to comment on maturity is he now.

Let's be real for a second: if the worst thing he does in his time with Skial is rate a bunch of random posts "friendly", he's gonna go down as a pretty darned good dude won't he?

He seems to have taken this application very seriously, and genuinely wants to help. Always seems like a nice guy on the forums, I just gotta think one incident shouldn't ruin a good guys application. +1 to you.
 
So after being on the forums for 5 months you just now realized that you need to make all your ratings "610"?
