There is no Super Training.

Literally worse than the Axtinguisher nerf.
Rating this disagree is stupid.
Super training was so fucking important.
When I found out it wasnt there I literally looked up PkHex immediately to see if it was accessible to me yet.

Can I talk about how not easy SuMo is? The grind is real. The 2v1s are also a nuisance when fighting the island Captain.

It really wasn't as important as you say it was. All it does it make it take a bit longer to build a comp team, not really a big deal. People did just fine without that shit.

I think they disagreed because they're a Pyro main who sorely

In all seriousness, I did use it a lot because it was convenient. My replacement will be a combination of abuse of the new calling for help mechanic and the Poké Pelago, plus some more thorough record-keeping and a lot of EV reducing berries. Actually, for various reasons I'm making a point of upgrading everything in Poké Pelago as quickly as possible; my Isle Abeens is already fully upgraded.

Swagger being unbanned is definitely the biggest thing on that list
I can't agree but I wasn't around before it was banned. I imagine there's gonna be a lot of Lum Berry holders or people may find it useless as working around confusion is as simple as a switch. Maybe more Pokemon with U-Turn or Volt Switch. inb4 Crobat ban cause U-Turn + Leech Life + Infiltrator = broken.

can we talk about how fucking good marshadow is gonna be?
ghost fighting type with technician, learns shadow sneak, decent bulkiness, 125 base attack to make real good use out of that technician shadow sneak, even without priority moves like shadow sneak its still fast as fuck boi, its signature move steals stat boosts of the opposing pokemon AND attacks in the same turn with 90 base power (also a STAB), even its special attack is pretty solid so it can slap on hidden power and deal quite a bit to physically defensive pokemon

guaranteed OU, possibly ubers

The grind is annoying, but I feel like they hold your hand along every step of the way. I've beaten the first island, but jesus you can't even take 3 steps without some storyline dialogue happening and cutscenes everywhere.

If you're exploring all of the areas there shouldn't be a cutscene or dialogue super often.

I said this before but I'll say it again: make your Poké Pelago as useful as possible. Do not ignore it. It may seem gimmicky at first, but it's got some powerful tools available.
  • Isle Abeens: You need beans to upgrade your islands and enhance them at the same time, so getting this out of the way first will net you a very nice flow of beans. As an added bonus, you'll attract some unique Pokémon you can add to your box, since you need at least 90 boxed Pokémon to fully upgrade your islands as well.
  • Isle Aplenny: This is the only place in the game where you can grow berries. Thankfully, it's all automated, and there's no more having to water or weed or anything. Paying beans lets the berries grow faster, and fully upgrading it lets you maintain 18 plants at once.
  • Isle Aphun: This place offers goodies like shards (which can be exchanged for all-important bottle caps), evolution stones, high-value vendor trash and even gold bottle caps. It's a bit time-consuming (taking a day to work), but paying beans speeds things up.
  • Isle Evelup: Lets you EV train. It's slow, but you can train several Pokémon up at once, and you don't have to sink a bunch of time in on one 'mon. It also allows precision on those tricky EV spreads (the ones other than 252/252/4) and lets you train and have a life at the same time. At level 3, those drinks furnish four EVs each, and if you pay beans it cuts the time in half.
  • Isle Avue: It increases happiness (making it useful for Return attackers/Draco Meteor), but it's also an egg incubator. Meaning no more running in circles for hours straight. Paying beans increases happiness faster and hatches eggs faster.
In other words, fukkin' use it, boyos.

I'm playing the game and the trial where you fight that thing that uses solar blade is actually legit hard. I fucked myself over not bringing a fire type so I caught a fletchling but jesus. First that toucan thing to counter grass and bug types, then that sunny day castform to make solar blade a 1 turn move. Not to mention is carries synthesis and a white herb. I thought paralyzing it would be the best idea but it's faster than Pikachu. I'm actually digging SuMo rn.
