It wasn't that I didn't notice it but it was more of a series of unfortunate events. The eevee appeared and I already had one, my mom walked in with dinner so I just mashed a without looking. I turned and saw a shiny eevee fainting and yelled "FUCK!"

Reminds me the time i killed Articuno in Pokemon Blue and then saving after i did. To this day, i don't remember WHY i did it. I guess i thought it would spawn back like any pokemon but kid me wasn't thinking ahead enough LOL.
 
Between my two games, I got three Timid Xurkitrees with HP Ice, and a Modest one with HP Ground.

I think me and Xurkitree were meant to be married.
