don't take this list too seriously, this game is rather new, and tiers are very subject to change
it's also worth noting that the guys that made this list also said that the tiers are "much closer this time around"
a C tier could easily win a tourney according to them, and I agree on that. this game feels pretty balanced compared to other smash games

it's super balanced, I don't even think a tier list is necessary!

I saw this a few weeks ago but I didn't want to post it here because I didn't want people's opinions skewed by this tier list.

Do not trust this tier list. This was made when the game was 2 weeks old, you can tell how unfinished it is by how many characters are just listed under D tier without any amount of variation. I bet this was made by a public poll and not by actual tournament results.
 
Welll, my Smash Bros. Wii U preorder fell through. I guarantee it will be preordered by Sunday, or I will change my name to "smash bros is love smash bros is life" for a week.
 
I called this a week ago. Rosalina is probably going to be meta at one point or another. Funny thing is Waffles and I just had this convo a week before this list even existed. Glad to see there are others who agree with us that she's top tier for the time being.

By "is going to be meta" do you mean meta knight tier, or top tier? "Going to be meta" doesn't mean anything.

She is going to be on the highest tier. i.e. the metagame for Smash Just as metaknight was for Brawl. I figured that description would be obvious for smash aficionado like yourself.

I think you don't understand what "meta knight tier" means. Meta knight was so good in brawl he defined the tier list. I don't see any characters in this game being that over powered. Meta knight was the only character in any smash game to be banned. Do you honestly see rosalina doing this?

P.S "Going to be the meta" still doesn't mean anything out of context
Edit: naw it works, that's just a dumb way to word it.

my win rate on floor gory is starting to go down, i'm going up against less and less retards, and this circle pad is fucking me up more and more
RIP in piece the 86% dream, now i'm just a 82.87% peasant ;^;
i would be doing so much better with an actual analog stick

I keep fucking up greninjas as recovery with the circle pad. Can't wait for the wii u version.

yea, it's still playable, but i cannot tell you how many times i accidentally did a tilt instead of a smash and vice versa because of this stupid circle
 
I was in floor gory and there was a ness who fucking saved me using PK thunder and then I beat him right after with 2 seconds left in the match. He was a staller.
