Couldn't get past page 1 because your sourcebans page is completely fucked up but I assume the rest of the bans are completely asinine and for absurd lengths as well. But hey... let's call out a community for banning people (for 1 day, I suppose permanent would have been better?) who are clearly being douchebags and have every intention of impeding another player's gameplay, if even for a few moments.

Well then again I wish I could just ban people for harassing me, cussing, ignoring me... pretty much for anything really. Oh yeah and permanently on their first offense at that. Hey you're not looking for admins are you?

Here's my thoughts on this:
Person that got banned way overreacted and should have just posted an appeal
Devlin also overreacted, it was 6 seconds, he could have atleast waited a little longer to report
Mun shouldn't have posted the video, he should have known it would have started something
Bottiger had the right to post the video on here
We also acted way to immature about this, but as the community of skial we did have a right to react to being made fun of, but we shouldn't have reacted this bad
Also, danhack, calm the fuck down

This is just unbelievable... I almost don't know what to say.

You only have to think a little to know that no one records a demo the whole time they are playing.

The plain fact that he made a demo almost guarantees that they were doing it before or that he knew they were going to grief him soon.
 
I don't think we've ever called out GSN for anything... Correct me if I'm wrong on that, save for what mittens just posted... If so, what gives you the justification to call us out in a public setting (Youtube)? You realize that your personal opinions are also helping to portray the opinions of GSN, because you're a part of the administration there. So, by you doing this, GSN is calling us bad. Which also gives you bad light, due to the fact it not only opens up our history, and opens up our floodgates, but allows others to pay attention to both sides... You're theoretically screwing yourself as well. Well done!

The demo started after he spawned so he did not setup p-rec to run every time he joined a server. And it is doubtful he even had it installed due to the name of the demo.
 
P-rec defaults to only tournament mode... He has it because he does play on a steel team in UGC, and I know the leader.

Actually to get this a bit cleared up. I used to be a regular on that server, and was there almost daily. While I was an admin I used to get a good chunk of my bans from getting rid of the idiots on that server. That entire video itself was created due to one person being too lazy to file a report, and no admins being online to answer steam messages from server regs.

Things like that generally don't happen.

My old tf folder is 83 gigs and the one in the screenshot is post-steampipe which is now now 37 gigs.

btw guise the proper response was "lol mittenz u dumb nerd wtf iz wrong wit u" not "this is how p-rec works..."

Most likely yes they were, but also there is a good chance he, devin, was also doing something.

Its getting quite annoying how many times I have to explain that it is simply a demo video. Why shouldn't I be able to post such things, and secondly why is it offensive when it is only the video, and "The two scouts were banned for one day due to standing in-front of the sniper. The rules state on skial: Harming your team for an extended period of time.
ex. blocking sniper views, teleporter traps, refusing to help advance your teams position

However the video shows none of that, maybe 10 seconds, not to mention that is one shitty sniper."

I will call my first two posts on my forum bashing but the rest are pretty professional.

I would also like to note that when the hell did I ever state that this is the official view of GSN. Its not, it is the viewpoint of mine. If you really wish to connect the two then go for it. However, I haven't used GSN in any form to come after you. I haven't sat down and made a post labeling you in an official post to the community. Just a simple post stating I don't agree with a ban.
