"Skial: Being Stupid"

I think it is funny that I am getting called out for doing this. All I did was paste 2 links to public smear jobs with the same title for an issue that we were not unanimously wrong for.

It doesn't matter that he wasn't the one to get banned. He's the one that bothered to register just to give a negative rating and then felt the need to tell everyone how stupid Skial is.

There is also no way of knowing that the demo was the only instance of griefing either.

If I can't even paste 2 links on my own forum, that is pretty sad.

What was the reason of posting those links? Absolutely nothing that can contribute. The outcome of it? A slander off between two communities yet again. Then when shit hits the fan, "we are always under criticism of other communities that make us look bad." You make yourself look bad, had you not have posted this thread, a whopping 20 people max would know about this. Now hundreds of people will know because guess what, a lot of people search "Skial stupid" and having the community itself have a thread made by the administrator of the community will attract attention.

1. I think a ban was too harsh.

2. Not liked it hurt Devins crappy sniping skills anyway.

3. We all know how Devin can be. He is just a cry baby who probably got owned the last team scramble by those 2 pan yielding scouts and thought "Hey, now i can get even because i'm a hopeless sore loser".

People who google "Skial stupid" probably just search for it to justify their own personal problems with Skial, so it's not like we'll do more than fuel their already unextinguishable fire. So big whoopdiedoo.

Because when the server owner and the admins see someone publicly bashing their server they're just gonna turn a blind eye at it right? :p

I didn't know this was Skial, owned and operated by DanHack.

I'm not saying Bottiger is above criticism, but I mean fuck this is his domain man. He runs this shit like he runs New York. He can post whatever the fuck he wants for whatever reason he wants. He can't break rules because he is like Judge Dredd, HE IS THE LAW. Bottiger #YOLO #SWAG #2013

Yes, Im not the judge, but can't I criticize the ruling? I no way am I trying to fabricate hate towards skial, if I wanted to do that, there is MUCH better ways.

The registering was because I was going to post here, and then was asked not to. You are also right that we don't know what happened earlier, hell Devin could have been mic spamming, hacking, etc.

Lastly, where the hell is the smear job? All I did was post a video, unedited, and a forum discussion where I stated I disagreed with the ban.

Please check what I named the video again, I have explained this multiple times. At this point you are editing titles to make them seem different then they are.

I never said I was, and I have played on Skial before, but when I played on Skial before I found it not to my liking and thus went to other servers. Thus can't I have a personal opinion that I don't like playing on a server that was like this:
when I came on? If you say this was a freak accident, then I came on during the freak accident and was still left with a bad taste in my mouth. However, this still doesn't mean I want to bash Skial, it just means I'd rather not play on them.

After seeing the whole fiasco you started with what you said in your forum I have a hard time believing this.
 
Do you want to know the easiest way to criticize our ruling? Having the person who was banned create a ban appeal... Its much easier than publicly trying to defame us. And sure, you can state that we're taking it differently than you wrote it, but you can infer it multiple ways... Skial: being stupid, can be taken in a lot of ways.

This is getting way more attention than it deserves. Both administrators posted links on their respective websites about something they found interesting/funny.

Mun said that he thought the ban was undeserved because it didn't seem like an "extended" period of griefing, and that's something that's left up to the admin in question. chuckwagon said that he felt it was appropriate, his reasoning being that if someone had taken the time to make a report, then he should act. End of story, really...

This doesn't include anything else, like whether the scouts were griefing before the demo or after it, whether Devin really would take the time to make report just to get someone banned and prove a point I personally feel that he would, or the other catfights from this thread.

Yes I stated those things and I meant them. I am glad I don't play on Skial, personally. Just as you are glad you don't play on mine due to a no cussing rule. My comment that I wanted to state was trollish, and unprofessional, but that is what I truly felt like stating. It made no sense on why they should be banned to my eye. Once again my personal opinion, just as you all have yours and constantly rate all my posts as dumb, it is an opinion.
