Invalid Scammer Tag Appeal

I don't think we have any evidence of him scamming. All i been reading was him deleting your comments and doing some trades with del. Do we know if he traded with del? (like traded a hat for metal) or if he just took and held on to the items?

I tried looking up the item history, and most of the items in dels backpack have been deleted, so we cannot really trace anything.

If we don't have any concrete evidence of him hacking, i think the scammer tags needs to come off and a caution tag needs to be put on.

He got 1 warning that we know of. Xel never provided proof of the first one.

The 1st warning, in my opinion, wasn't a very godo one. Xel didn't say who he was just said "hey this is bad don't do it". I might of deleted a random comment like that too if ididn't know who it was

He didnt scam he was not following the rules of steam rep
I was just claiming it looks fishy how he got them

But this here is why he is marked as a scammer not because he actually scammed

He did not have a caution until the 2nd supposed warning.

You only need to receive one warning if the warning involved a cash trade. Also, I think the hunch is pretty good anyways

Where is the proof of a cash trade?
We don't ban people on hunches. in this case mark them as a scammer based on little evidence.

I will say hoever he is a moron for ignoring the warnings. But Steamrep says caution, not scammer tag

I think an exception could be made for almost an entire backpack getting transferred. There are a good number of people marked on hunches with a bit of evidence.

Again wrong. Yes some of the items in del pieros backpack went to yolo. But not almost every single one. Xel was exagegratting. I went through a lot of the items and a lot of them did not go through to yolo.


If the guy has had three offenses trading then i am fine with the scammer tag. the only thing i am not fine with is having no way to prove the second warning.

Some of the admins have talked about this and we have decided that your scammer tag will stay. You have had mutliple warnings to not trade with del piero, and yet you continued to do so.

I am leaving tis open in case you or anyone have any more evidence to provide. However if you are just going to reply "im not scamming its not me blah blah" stuff, i will lock this and it will be the end of the discussion.

So he disregarded one warning, made multiple trades, and acknowledged that he traded with him/left him rep. I don't see anything about a caution tag, although I might have missed it.

EDIT: According to SteamRep's FAQ about trading with scammers, he should have received a temporary caution along with the warning, which would be removed when he contacted us (like now). But if Xel gave out both his warnings before he contacted us, then it would be a scammer tag
