I do enjoy looking at some a$$ just like the next guy, but FFS, I don't need penises and pussies sprayed on my maps. I think porn or pornography-related sprays should be banned.

So many servers allow for porn sprays and there are rarely any complaints about it. If youngers see it, that isn't our issue. Sure the ESRB rating is M for graphic content and strong language but the M rating itself also contains a warning of nudity. If parents aren't doing their 2 minutes of research then we shouldn't have to change our ways as well. The only difference is it's more okay for us to allow porn sprays on our servers than it is for parents not to be telling them or at least warning them ahead of time. I believe the M rating is also for nudity for tf2 I mean the last tf2 comic was full of naked mercs and side characters.

Then again, so many servers allow the N word on the servers to. This is no different. I've seen countless of M rated movies, and game, allow N words and I am simply say it's pretty much one sided. If the N word is banned, then by logic Porn sprays should be banned to, if the community wants it? That's really why I made my thread based on the N word but it seemed like the community was biased about it.
I just find it quite funky that a simple historic word is banned on all Skial servers, but hardcore porn can be spewed anyone. And the "kids are playing this game" is unlogicial because of what I said above.
It's you and op that have issues with it which goes back to Meowcenary's point, we rarely get complaints about it. The opposite case goes for why we punish for racism. More people complain about racism than porn. This is mostly because if the racism is in the name, chat, and/or voice, anyone in the server can see / hear it. You can put porn on voice but that'd count towards micspam, if you put it on a spray, the odds of seeing are not as likely resulting in less of an issue.
Dude the only reason people complain against racism because it's actually IN the RULES LIST. Porn is not. If porn was, I am sure the report sub-section would be filled with them.

Did thee last tf2 comic show genitalia? I haven't looked at it yet but I assume it didn't.
Both sides have good arguments and both are Valid reasons as for banning it and leaving it. but I personally side with the ban it people. Simply for this,
1. the M rating that tf2 received did not include nudity as one of the reasons,
2. The US rating system does not allow hardcore sex/porn scenes in basically any if thier video games. The only ones I know of would fall in in the Hentai section of games and those generally start in Japan and are generally censored in us realeases.
3. Relating to number 2 the esrb can't rate why we se online so we must do that ourselves.
4. In the us porn is illegal to be viewed by anyone under the age of 18 and we know that even though the games rating is 17+ that there are many people under 17 that play this game.
5. I believe it is our responsibility to keep it clean for them especially because relating back to number 2 and 3 the game isn't supposed to have nudity anyways. If we are going to stop people from being racist (which is against the law) we should at least try to stop people showing minors porn (also against the law).
That's my two cents take it as you want but this is what I personally believe so dont attack me for this. It's still up to the server as I've said many times but I hope they will at least see it as a somewhat reasonable belief.

Also in regards, I think if Porn is banned, the N word should be banned to?

@Dave Nope just happen to have the same views. I know you have played in games with me before. I just wish the people here to know what I think and that even though this is what I believe I support whatever decision is made.

We have racism in the rules because there was strong community support to add it.
There has never been any support to ban nudity. But if you can find it i'm sure we could consider it. I personally think we do not need to worry about it, admins already have the right to remove any spray we want.

Can I get a clarification on what "remove" means"? You mean you would ban for them, or you actually have the ability to remove it?
I know you have the ability to do both, but I want to know what you are actually supposed to do as an admin. Shouldn't you remove them without banning them?
Edit: I mean banning the player with the spray.
So let's say Player A puts a spray that an admin does not like, then an admin bans for that spray? And that ban depends on how many bans Player A had previous? Let's say Player A has had 3 bans, so he is on the 1 week ban, does that mean he gets banned for 1 month because of his spray? Or something only like a day.
And when you mean every case has different action, you mean by the severity of that spray? If it was not severe, you might just remove it instead of banning it?

Sorry for the additional post, but I think if the N word is not allowed, then I don't think porn should be allowed either though? They are just as bad. People can spew out racism just by saying 1 word, but pornography in my opinion is much worst.
