I don't know about other countries but I know in the US an M rating is 17+ And as I stated before TF2 is not rated M for nudity or pornography. And technically there aren't really any M rated games. That actually show hard-core porn/sex they usually don't show the act but everything around it or they hint at it. If they were showing actual hardcore porn I think the rating companies would be rating them A in the US which is adult only. I don't think we allow conpanies to show hardcore sex in games.
The people who rate video games are not allowed to rate what other players do. That's up to the servers. TF2 is rated M for blood gore and violence. So saying hardcore porn is ok because it is rated M when there are basically no M games with hardcore porn is kind of backwards. Like I said before they are the servers rules but you can't say it's justified because of the rating when that isn't what the rating means.

Online interactions are not rated by the ESRB to begin with so ratings is of no concern

Honestly, I'm neutral.

I'm not offended or put off by porn sprays, but at the same time I wouldn't care if they were banned... they don't add to the experience.

- 1 How else am I supposed to get backstabs?

If people don't know, this is another reason pornography should be removed. It's distracting in-game and people stare at it.

If people don't know what Defibyoulater meant, he means that if someone posts a pornography spray in the middle of a battlefield, people stare at it, which distracts them, which lets them backstab them because they are distracted. Hence, that's why he said "how else am I supposed to get backstabs". It distracts everyone.
