Well thank God we get notifications again.

Normally if I log into the site and see no new alerts I won't bother to look at any recent threads. But if I get a rating I'll go to see it, thus making me see an newer posts on that thread.

I'm pretty sure no one else has the same way of thinking as me, but I'm OCD, and if I don't get ratings, I don't use the site :l

I'm kind of the same way. My activity dropped when ratings went anonymous. Everything felt really dead

the only thing that kept my activity was up, was me complaining about notifications for ratings being gone.
