Ass Pancakes is quite an interesting boss but I feel like he's a little too powerful at his current state. Sadly, looking at the ff2 tag in the forum shows no .cfg file or even a mention of Ass Pancakes. It could be located somewhere else but idk. This means there's not really a good way of editing how Ass Pancake works. Anyways, I want to hear everyone's opinion on what to do with him. By the way, here are some of Ass Pancakes abilities:
  • Can one hit kill a non-overhealed heavy despite having a damage penalty???
  • Has a somewhat higher than normal super jump.
  • Rage stuns enemies and gets self uber for about 5 or so seconds. I'm unsure on the exact time he has uber.
  • Possibly longer than normal melee range for a boss. (Could be untrue but it does feel like it)
  • Cannot weighdown
  • Has scout speed which is able to outrun an escape plan soldier
  • Rages too fast. I've seen games where Ass Pancake rages multiple times in one setting.
I think that's about most of his abilities but leave a suggestion on whether he should or shouldn't get nerfed and explain why.

just remove it seeing how whenever ass pancake gets "nerfed" it gets buffed instead

@DanishSoup sorry, thats our bad. we we’re trying to nerf his damage (in compensation for his range) and some how we managed to up his damage (ff2 sure is fucking weird on how atributes work on weapons)

currently the weapon stats are as follows (you probably already know this but others reading might not)

- +210% damage (202 damage total)
- +2 capture rate on wearer
- user cannot double jump
- -50%damage (broken, adds 50% instead of taking away damage)

(i believe thats it, its 4 am give me a break if i cant remember everything off the top of my head)

damage to rage ratio is about somewhere between 2.5k dmg to 3k dmg (another reason we decided to make his damage halfed instead of it being like jack (-10%))

The speed thing i cant quite remember but what i di know is that he starts off slow, and as he progressively loses HP, he gets faster (all bosses have this thing)

All super jumps have been wonkey for a while. you probably remember back with the old plugin that about 75% of hales had a vertical based jump, but those who didnt (jack, pancakes, miku etc.) got a boost in their jumps when the plugin changed. it was weird at first but we mostly got used to it by now.

thats about all of the explications i can come up with at this time. just to be clear: i dont like ass pancakes and this isnt some elaborate scheme to have him untouched. we would have changed him by now if the person who did them had a proper working computer (not saying names cause i don't want him to have any unwanted attention)

@soos thanks for telling me more info about Ass Pancakes and I understand the situation. I just wanted to hear what's up with Ass Pancakes and the future for his balancing so it's better for the opposing side to have a chance of beating him. Hopefully whoever has the .cfg file has a chance of editing him, no rush though .

its funny, cause we aslso added -50% damage to miku and it worked so its dumb that It didn't work for Pancakes
