Any other reason you should be admin:
  • Prior to playing tf2, I was a server admin for a gaming community I was in for years on cs:s. I was admin for two years, so that should show some commitment.
  • Goldrush LA does not have a consistently-playing admin. There are some admins who come in if we have done a !votereport, but I do not know of any admin who plays with all of us consistently. I think the server could use a consistent admin who the players know well, and I believe I am that person. I plan to be around for years to come, and I already have been around for several years. In addition to admining on goldrush LA, I would be happy/able to help with any other servers.
  • I have never been muted or banned on skial, and I follow all of the server rules. I also remind others if they are violating any of rules, which usually goes well, as sometimes people just don't care to read the rules.
  • I have over 326 hours on skial, and I have been playing here for several years now. Additionally, I only have about 6 hours on AFK. My 1000-ish hours on tf2 overall are also mostly non-AFK hours. I don't idle, so you can be assured that if you see me online, then I am actively playing!
  • I appreciate the large activity all of the servers get, and I believe we help foster a great community of new-to-tf2 and veteran players. Goldrush LA itself has a fun community of players. We often recruit new regulars to the server because they see how active we are on the server, and they enjoy being around us.
  • And just about myself personally: My name is Becky. I'm 21, and I am a senior in college.

RM is pretty damn rad, and she's definitely on enough to be a constant watch and friend to new and old people on the server. she's also really good at reminding people of rules without being too harsh or annoyingly hammering the point in like some people do. 10/10 definitely a good admin choice!
 
Goldrush could really use a regular admin. I would recommend RMSniper to fill that void.

How much time do you think you will be able to devote to being an admin after college is over for you?
 
@Tayto - I've done previous internships where I worked 40+ hours, and I still found plenty of time to play. I'm a night owl anyways, so I would still play from likely 6pm-11pm, with it going to 2am on weekends. Hope that answers your question.

Totally. You seem like a mature adult so far even in your chat log. Your app is no-nonsense and well put-together. I haven't played with you in-game yet but you seem pretty genuine and have the right attitude for the position. At least in my opinion. +1
 
95% of my skial hours are on this goldrush server. It has one of the strongest constant communities ive seen on TF2 and RM is a very strong member of that community we have. I wouldnt want anyone else keeping me in line.

+1 Really great person and I think a proper fit for an admin. A huge part of why I play on the goldrush server is cause of its community and RM is a big part of that.
 
Lucas here(unofficial raffler, gift giver, and newb helper. also the person that keeps track of if teams are ballanced and people's stats) , I see a lot of people come through the pl_gl LA server that do/say a lot of stuff that wouldnt happen if we had a regular admin. RMSniper is the admin that could finally fill the gap I feel the server needs for it to truly grow, shes nice, already knows all the community members on a first name basis and is very accepting (plus she knows how strict she NEEDS to be to have a good community). I have suggested she apply for admin before as we really (REALLY) need one and I personally feel I am not mature enough yet to apply, It is with great pleasure that I say I would love RM to have her admin app approved.
 
ALSO if rm becomes admin Ill hold a special raffle just for the occasion that will have way better stuff than my >10 ref sunday raffles
 
Great player in the game and can deal with any issue that Skial servers face (even though she doesn't have admin). Played along side her for a good 100~ hrs and can say her personality and intelligence for dealing with issues is far beyond the standards. Skial really needs an admin that regularly plays on the same Skial servers and RM Sniper can be in the mist of it all. One of the reasons I regularly play on Skial is because I get to know the people that play on the servers and no one else fits the admin rights more then this lovely young lady. And she is one hella-good sniper.
 
Known Rmsniper for quite some time now, and have been a regular for 2 years with another account and this. And I would have to say we do need more Skial admins that is a regular, as time to time there would be people who fail to cooperate. RMsniper is a very genuine person who treats everyone on the server nicely and had been on the server for quite some time. She as a person have definitely dealt with some trolls on the server but have not lost it, instead she dealt with it with patience. She is everything a admin should be, patient, kind, mature, genuine, help and so. +1 She is one of the reason why I switched from DB to goldrush
 
Dear Skial Administration

I'd like to start off by saying thank you for providing everyone who plays on Skial including myself a place to call their home. A place to have fun and enjoy the company and friendship of other fellow gamers. I have been playing here for almost 4 years now, the majority of it on DB LA+ and logged over 1600 hrs. A tryhard regular for sure. A few months back I decided to start playing on some other Skial servers. That's when I met RMSniper, although I know her as Becky now, on GR LA. I noticed right off the bat how friendly and mature she was to any and all players. She was enjoyable to play with and from the start encouraged me to come and play there more regularly. So far I have seen that she is very committed to making tf2 on Skial the same experience for everyone who plays here as she has shown to me. I do not doubt her ability to admin whatsoever. Skial needs more people like her. She even joined me on Turbine last night, a map she wasn't familiar with and was playing for hours. Shows versitility in adapting to diversity.

She has my full support. ++Rep

I've been playing on this server for a little over a year now and little did I know that RMSniper was a regular on the Skial server pl_goldrush. Sooner or later, we finally had gotten on to the server at the same time and got to know each other a little better:

RMSniper, otherwise known as Becky, is a dedicated, mature, and a patient human being. Many things happen on pl_goldrush going from spamming all the way to hacking, and the only way to prevent this from happening is if this server has someone who is committed. Someone who is willing to help others have an enjoyable experience 24/7. If anyone new starts to play frequently on Skial's pl_goldrush, they will for sure have a fun, entertaining, and satisfying experience. All in all, if pl_goldrush needs a consistently playing admin, then RMSniper is the way to go.

Becky has 100% of my support and I hope she gets her position.
 
I finally came back to TF2 a few months ago after taking a break for a few years.
I am very picky when it comes to what server I want to spend my time in, and I am convinced to say that Skial pl_goldrush LA meets most of my requirements. This server has a stable number and an abundance of active regulars and is usually very populated. The community within this goldrush server is one of the funnest and most entertaining ones I've encountered.

That being said, it is sometimes quite frustrating when there are grievers and/or hackers. There seems to be lacking an admin that is also a regular on the server. This is why I am here to support RMSniper's admin application and hope it goes through. Her skills in-game show that she is definitely a veteran of this game, and her personality shows that she is both mature, patient, and trustworthy.

I am sure she will be an excellent addition to Skial's admin roster.
 
RMSniper is a really cool player. She has the qualification, and (personally) the personality of an admin that can get things done while keeping the server as best as it can be. As a regular on Goldrush that has played with her before, I can say without any doubt that she would be perfect for the admin spot.
DO IT.
