If I believed there was no reason, I would probably get mad for about a day. I would never lash out against anyone or anything associated with skial. If I knew the reason, I would not be angry at anyone but myself​

Hello! Most of you may know me as TangyZ and I am looking to become an admin.

Quite recently, I have noticed that my favorite 24 slot turbine server has become a lawless outback. A few weeks ago, a person of African American ethnicity came on and there were racial slurs going left and right, had I known about the report tool at the time, I definitely would have used it. There has been a LOT of delayed capping, and spawn rancho relaxoers, and conga heavys have been quite a common occurrence. I have asked these people to stop and to read the rules but they reply with insults and " you cant tell me what to do". I would like my favorite server to be as seamless and as fun of an experience for everyone and I would like to be a part of that change.

The main reasons for me doing this, are because the skial Texas turbine server is my all time favorite server, and is the only server I play on besides mge mod, and competitive tf2. I would like to continue to make it an even better server, and I believe that me becoming and admin would be one step closer to fulfilling that goal. It is also much easier for me to take care of rule breakers on my own instead of having to call in an admin every time. I am a very calm and polite person and can handle angry people very well. I rarely swear, and when insulted, I do not respond likewise. I do have a couple mute/gags on record and my old chat log may be somewhat immature, But I am older know and have learned to control my emotions. I am not doing this for any of the benefits at all, and all I would like to do is be able to take care of those who do not listen, care for, follow, or intentionally break the rules. Oh yeah, and forgot to mention that I am online at the times listed above, But I cannot be in-game Monday-Thursday. I can be a huge help on Friday-Sunday, and still help people with issues on weekdays.

I can moderate all normal servers (excluding trade/jailbreak/idle because I do not understand these types of servers, especially jailbreak) but the only one I play regularly is

I have no previous admin experience, but I frequently referee soccer (football, for you Europeans) games for kids under the age of 18, so I am good with making decisions on the fly

App looks great, chat seems clean (now). I like your current course.

However your 2 last gags+mutes were just about 1-2 months ago. So for myself, I'm uncertain as of now about you.
Reason for that was spamming, which is not allowed by rules. So I assume you either didn't know or ignored it (since you must've known about it by the votesilences before), just to annoy other people or for own amusement. And for that reason, this time, I will go with a
small -1

If your course of action stays as steady as it is now, I'll be changing it. But this seems too early. Hopefully you will not take offense and accept constructive critics. Cheers.

If I may explain myself on these two events. I am not going to try and change your opinion as that is a decision that should be left up to you

The first of the 2 votes was where I had just gotten a new bind (of course I was excited) and I was not exactly spamming it, but some people found it annoying enough to vote agaisnt me, which I do not understand as that happens all the time.

Second vote was where I had been talking with the mic, no racism, no spamming, nothing, but apparently my keyboard clicks were too loud so some people saw it fit to mute me

Both instances could be considered
vote menu abuse

As I mentioned in my summary above, I was not aware of the report tool, but I would have used it had I known

I take a couple of vote mutes from a few months ago with a grain of salt. If they were by an admin, then it may affect the app. Your app looks good, getting support from server regs will help out with your app as well.

1. Someone on your friend's list messages you that there are people spawn camping them on a Skial 2 fort server. How do you respond?

2. You are in a server and someone complains that T-Wayne has a loli porn spray. What is your course of action?

Whoopsies! Sorry for the late response. I had school and it was my birthday today.

By the way, I have never been talked to by an admin about bad behavior, much less muted/gagged/banned

1) So reading through the skial rules, I did not see anything about spawncamping. I would tell my friend to read the rules of the server, and that spawn camping is perfectly ok, and there Is nothing I can do about it

2) *had to look up what lolicon meant, Not surprised that it is banned :P*
(This is assuming that this is a skial server, and not just a random one)
First of all, I would go and check out the spray myself to see if the complainer is telling the truth. If he is not, then I would warn him about falsely accusing people and keep my eye on the them
If I do see the spray, and it does indeed contain young nude girls (ew) then I would proceed to remove the spray with the sm_removespray command
To the player who sprayed the innapropro Picture, I would be sure to link them the rules, then proceed to ban the player (T-Wayne) with the sm_ban "#[U:1:36726090]" 1440 "Use of an inappropriate spray"
The time is 1440, as that is 24 hours-1 day and that is the minimum ban length as stated in the skial rules
If I am allowed to do shorter times, please let me know

Pretty solid answers. 2 things about loli, though

  1. We permanently ban those caught with a loli spray. Same goes for underage porn. Appeals will happen, but it's our course of action
  2. Whenever this happens, make sure to consult with other admins. It is best to get as many opinions as possible.
You did fine. Just little things that you will learn in time if this goes through. Wish you luck, mate

How can I determine the ban length for offenses, as I see nothing about it in the rules. Thank you for the clarification though, Will definitely help me

Like Cdawg said, We generally handle Loli sprays by having a few admins look it over and determine what to do from there. Your ban command was right for a one day ban though. Stuff like posting personal info, DDos threats against the server and Loli sprays can result in a permaban.

I was mainly looking to see how thorough you were and you did well.

As a heads up, Loli is defined under illegal sprays/information. Just to make that even more clear.
