Anyone else getting a ridiculous bug in "Unlucky Valentine" where the vault door refuses to open? When you plug in your pipboy the plastic over the button is supposed to open but it doesn't, so you just smack it. I nocliped through the vault door to continue the rest of the mission, but after you kill Skinny, Nick just stands in a corner, and if I try to interact w/ him it say he's busy. wtf

Urgh, all the missions have gotten too hard.
Hoardes of supermutants with their giant hounds running to kill me, and one of them carrying a mini nuke blew me a new asshole. I can't even do the quest that's close to them because they always see me.

meanwhile i carelessly run past a legendary deathclaw in the glowing sea and it just doesn't see me so i keep on going my way.
what difficulty are you playing on. I haven't really touched the settings at all, not even for volume or sensitivity, so I'm probably on whatever's default.

I'd assume that most people here including me have it set to survival.

It was normal, I went the vagina way as Zebra suggested and lowered it to easy. Now it's too easy.

Also lol, while doing an old mission yesterday, I fought a legendary cockroach. It had a ghoul-slaying pool cue.

I checked, I'm on normal as well.

Wellfuck. I haven't been to the glowing sea, it's for trying to find the dude who has a clue about your son right?
I want to get the underwater breathing and rad not affecting you beforehand, along with gearing up on a rad suit in case there is some radiation over there.

But wat. Legendary deathclaw?!
Though to be honest, the only times I have seen deathclaws so far even in normal mode was the inevitable one at the beginning, then two of them fighting when on the quest with Valentine, but they didn't get in our way or anything. Still mildly shat myself.

oh you guys are playing on normal? i've been playing hard this entire time, kinda thought that was usually the normal because normal was too easy
on the side note i did kill the queen mirelurk, not at Fort strong as Toxik Told me but she was a bitch to kill

Finally got onto the blimp and cleared the Fort with the Brotherhood, got so much ammunition and craftables, it's a dream.
Also, since I finally have over 2k caps, has anyone bought the house in Diamond City yet and is it worth it?

ok literally all you need is a gas mask and a rad-x. You usually only get about 8 rad/s while in the glowing sea, and it's not actually underwater, so don't concern yourself over that either. The gas mask will reduce your rad/s to only 2, and the rad-x will decrease it to 1 rad/s so you hardly have to worry about it. You could also just take your power armor. Be wary of deathclaws though, they're all over the place and I did have to fight one prior to getting to the guy in the cave.
It's called the glowing sea because it's where the atomic blast actually took place, and now there is so much radiation that it constantly just glows.

Awshiet, fuck that I'll leave it for when I get better weapons then!
Also, found a pretty useful collection of tips on Reddit

Apparently, you can romance your companions. Even the male ones, Bethesda don't judge yo
I saw a funny gif of a guy commanding Piper to check out a bed, but she didn't fall for it :(

There is also a hazmat suit you can get which offers 1000+ radiation resistance reducing your radiation intake to <1. you can buy it off becky fallon in diamond city for a low price.

Wish I could do stuff like that, but iv never ever liked first person crafting stuff. It works in minecraft for me, but the UI is so shit for building in 4, it drives me nuts. I just built a wall around sanctuary, a billion turrets and i was good to go after just cleaning up the houses in town. Otherwise i did not really bother making other bases.

Welp, my Internet is down again but at least I can play FO4!

Found my first wandering deathclaw, luckily I was with Lance and a group of armored Brotherhood guys with miniguns were walking right beside us. Shredded it to dust in about 20 seconds!
