I believe that IDEALLY it should be discussed between the mother and father but ultimately it is HER choice.

Not really like I said it should be a decision between the mother and father, if the father wants it and the mother doesn't then the father should have to raise the kid and the mother shouldn't have to support the child in anyway and Vice-versa.

Were you conceived? 100% of people in this world are conceived last time I checked.
So? doesn't mean my life began there. It means I began developing there. I did not develop past a cluster of cells, yet! At week five I was BARELY developing a brain.

So she should go through nine months of torture because some asshole decides her opinion about HER body isn't valid?

The father is irrelevant then. Why should the man have a say with his child? Come on
I repeat myself: I believe that IDEALLY it should be discussed between the mother and father but ultimately it is HER choice.

Also, when it comes to a woman and her choices about her body, men are generally irrelevant.

And he should pay child support for 18 years because someone decides his opinion about the child that shares half his DNA doesn't matter?
Nope. Never said that.

Edit: I don't agree with the way the U.S. currently handles parental rights/responsibilities. I don't think that ANYONE, male or female, should be forced into mothering or fathering a child.

You people assume the father will ALWAYS want to have a say. The father is not always in the picture.

Nope. Never said that.

Then what are you saying, because its really not clear, I might not be the best guy to ask about this I'm going to adopt but seriously over half the things you say favor the woman immensely, its completely unfair for a man who'll love that child with all his heart to not ever get to meet it because the woman decided no, its the same if it was a woman who never gets to meet their child.

The problem is he has no say.
The problem? Are you even reading posts anymore? sboles is talking about one night stands, rape, friends with benefits, things that are NOT the traditional monogamous relationship where the father might not be in the picture.

I am saying that I think no one on this planet should be forced into parenting a child. Mother or father.

Sentient pregnant woman > sentient non-pregnant man > non-sentient fetus.

Lol at life begins at conception.

Two cells who that formed together don't equal a sentient human being, or anything for that matter. Ever heard of plan B? That stuff takes out the affected cells so pregnancy doesn't start at all, so no, cells aren't a human being.

You are going for specific circumstances which is speculation. The fact is the man has no say in whether a baby will be aborted or not. If there is no father then legally the woman has all the say but if the father is involved and wants the child then he has no say even if he will raise the child.

He should have had a baby with someone that said they were ready to have one in that case.

Don't you get it? A woman has to hold a baby with 9 months with increase in costs to herself, healthcare, food, baby supplies, etc. Dealing with constant sickness, change to her attitude, etc. for a baby she does not want but the father wants. If the father could somehow "mother?" the child or swap the child into a woman who was willing to be pregnant for his child then I would say that could be relevant.

And you say CDAWG isn't reading the posts, I said too you if the mother doesn't want to deal with the kid they shouldn't have too but if the father does then they look after the kid but with zero child support, and visa versa.

look, the point is
If you follow a personal lifestyle or religion: Do not force other people to join you or make them feel bad if they don’t. If you're pro-life, fine. Don't get an abortion. But don’t ever make people feel bad who want an abortion.

And you are "speculating" that any life is better than death, and that life begins and conception.
