  • Warden should be the only one who can open the cells (but they still open after a certain amount of time, of course).
    • Because a scout will run out immediately, press the button, and run away while the warden is typing. Then the prisoners will go "FREEDAY" and run about, so when the warden gives his commands it is very hard to control the prisoners. (Added by Phaiz) If added, make the time until the door open longer.
  • When the warden dies, there should be a "Next in Command" instead of freeday.
    • Constant freedays are annoying, long, and pointless. Either the prisoners delay the round horribly or the guards start mass freekilling.
  • Add /jbrules (a more detailed rules list) *APPROVED*
    • Since they're only 3 rules for each team, people tend to find loop holes a lot. Even though we know the rules, the regulars don't. People still come on saying "THAT'S BAITING" or saying "you didn't say no detour or delay!"

    • Just makes freekilling easier, no reason to have it.

    • It's just useless spam, that makes orders go off the screen faster.
  • Make it to where freedays can only be issued through LR's.
    • It isn't fair when the warden gives his friend freeday with armory because he is his friend.
  • Nerf the heavy's show down taunt kill. *APPROVED*
    • Instant kills any guard, is silent, and has an absurd range.
  • Nerf self damage weapons.
    • As a soldier/demoman, you can kill your team (As warden) easily with your explosive weapons.
    • As a scout, the boston basher has no downside, and the atomizer does not do damage on 3rd jump.
    • No explosive jumping.
  • Mods should have /beacon
    • When an admin plays, they always beacon the freedayers. Why can't mods do this?
  • Make the Deathrun door not do damage, but pushes you.Guards and prisoners abuse this to kill people.
    • Prisoners will just spam the buttons to kill other prisoners while going in.
    • Guards will wait for people to be all in and ready, then open it, then close it. As long as crush game is not on they will get pushed under the door, then killed.
  • Make it to you can't manually switch teams.
    • Switching teams gives you the ability to exploit.
    • Just make it to where when you join it switches you to RED, then you can only be on RED until you get to the point of the que where you can be BLU, and then you stay on BLU until either you type /q or your warden turn is over.
  • Remove Demoman and Soldier from playing on BLU
    • Causes too many accidental freekills. Explosive weapons don't self damage also.
  • Remove the atomizer
    • Does no damage, and makes it really easy to escape immediatley on minecart.
  • (Added by Avenger and Dave) Make simon says an invalid order
    • It is too confusing for people, as in the warden will say "Go to pool". People don't go because he does not say "Simon says go to pool" But then idiot guard #1 comes up and kills everyone for not following orders and going to the pool.

    • It will be easier for mods/admins to moderate with more detailed jailbreak specific report reasons

    • I've seen plenty of bad wardens have 5 people die at once because they weren't paying attention.

    • Something only the warden can press, so collisions can turn on/off with out wasting crush game.

    • It's all opinion, and is usually just "Let me kill people who aren't my friends" For example, in hat day, if you have an unusual team captain you could be killed, while the guy with the gibus lives. Because the guy with the gibus is the warden's friend.

No more Simon Says, as you never know how competent the Warden is
I've been killed for going where he says, and I've been killed for not going where he says
Too inconsistent, too many kids

For example, sometimes I like to trick people by going "simone says..." and then they go there, and when I kill them they think I freekilled because I spelled it wrong.
In this situation, you could be killed because you did go there, and you assumed it was a Type-O, or you could be killed for not going there because you thought it was a trick.

I'm not sure if I want to add that to the list

In a server where people make typos all the time and still expect you to know what they're trying to say, pulling something like that is a real dick move.

+Dave to the related suggestion. Simon Says could easily be used as an excuse for the warden to freekill. On one hand, Simon didn't say, but on the other hand, the warden said. No matter how you spin it, the warden has an excuse to kill just about anyone after giving a command without putting "Simon says" at the beginning of it if they're playing that game. It's like giving the command to rebel or to suicide.
 
How about getting rid of collisions completely? Not all wardens know how to get rid of it so we end up playing a game and someone gets killed because they get pushed by other players and all.

Like killing in short timespan just after a round has started. For sure when Warden kills the guard after a high killstreak.

And explain accidental kills. Like trying to shoot a rebel but a prisoner who is behaving runs infront of the fireline (happens, seen it happen). That's not banworthy or slayworthy. It's an accident that always can happen.
If someone tries to slay because of it, it's a vote-abuse but not silentworthy. He got freekilled by accident. It can happen to anyone.

I'd like this. It's annoying when it isn't complete obvious free kill (like only killing 5 people 30 seconds apart). Sometimes when I post the event log to let an admin judge, they just go "Idk how 2 jailbreak" and invalid it.
 
I'd make it so they know when to mark "approved", when to mark "denied" and when to mark "need evidence"..
Seems some have an issue with us requesting what to do while:
I have told admins they don't need to double check every report that has been handled by a mod in order to ban.

But if they really don't want to trust our words when we ask them to do something and want to doublecheck and they don't know how to because they don't understand Jailbreak and it's rules/players. I am happy to make a thread to explain so they contact it. ^^

I got a question. What about the people who kill a person on accident? Now its a dumb question I know but accidents can happen. Is there really any form of set rules for them?

If there was a rule against accidental freekill I would've been banned like 10 times now. :p Usually if accidental freekill occurs on my part I just slay myself for the round as a sort of compensation.

Its a general self-imposed rule that if you accidentally kill someone as a guard, you kill yourself. Just courteous ya know.
