I think I've told you this before but if your teachers are decent you should just be able to ask them for help and have them help you! Whatever class you're having trouble in, go to your teacher and say "Hey, I don't get this." or "Can you help me with this?". Really! I LOVE it when my students ask me for help, I'd much rather take some extra time to work with them or help them out rather than have them fail. Besides, it's a teachers job!

Also, getting organized is a big huge part of studying well. If you have notes they aren't going to do you much good if you don't know what you're looking for in your own pages. When you take notes, mark things you think are super relevant and go back and read those...or you could do what I did all through college and write down EVERYTHING then summarize your notes yourself. And having the self-discipline to make yourself get off the game/internet to do school stuff is really the key, here! It's much easier if you set up a schedule and force yourself to it!

you're a teacher D:

In reply to anya's advice, i =guess i cna ask monday

In response to overall, 1/5 are helpful, mainly good advice, and barely any techniques
i need techniques people D:

How old are you exactly?

When I was in university it took me a while to get a solid study routine down.

What worked for me is leaving my house and going somewhere else without distractions aka the library.

We had quiet study individual rooms you could take and some with computers if you needed to type. Go there, shut the door, bring some good but non distracting, and start to cram. It can actually be quite enjoyable and satisfying.

Even though I am out of college now if I ever have to buckle down and get some work done that is what I do.
ima just say i am in 8th grade

I'm gonna say this just cause I am too and i know how this works. Ain't ya asian? =P

Anyways, what I use to do is take the notes i took down for that day and rewrite them to review.
I am asian, Problem?

Rewrite as in like the important details? sometimes in class, we gotta take notes on what the students research from books and then teacher's
then i am confused which is accurate

As far as techniques go, it's really just whatever you are comfortable with and whatever works for you. Other people can only make suggestions. Photek's list was a good one!

Did you ever have to copy down spelling words in elementary? Like, write them over and over and over? Same concept. :) The more your brain see's something the better it will remember it.

They never forced us with a vacum cleaner o30

My hand literally gets extremely sore after 3 hours during writing (even if i take breaks in between)
Even if i write fun stories i LOVE to make about random topics (maplestory mainly),
it hurts

Just something to add in, my Biology teacher last year gave us a little study guide before tests. Maybe ask your teachers if they could do that. Even if they don't, make one yourself using the subjects and topics you struggle with, answer whatever questions you put on it, then look over it a few times a day.

I'll work on some for you. Do you know your learning style? Like, do you learn by seeing something done? Or by having someone tell you how it's done? Doing it yourself?
...ummm i dont know

I can try some new ones though...
i am really into certain music though, if u can help me learn to turn the important info to music, thats epic :D
I rather just write all the information i read then listen. I "fall asleep" in class becuase there isnt much writing in ss classes

Not much writing in Social Studies?? Ack. That doesn't seem right...anyhow, could you write notes anyway? Does your teacher talk a lot? If so, ask if you could record the class. I have some students who will bring in little pocket recorders on the days that I 'lecture' and they write notes in class and then read over them again while listening to the recording.

You should! If that would help you, ask for it! Like I said, most teachers will do everything they can to help you learn their stuff.
