Wash and then cut thin slices in potatoes, but not all the way through.
Rub with olive oil, salt and pepper
Stick some chunks of bacon in the slots
Bake at 425 for 50mins
toss some cheese on for the last few minutes of baking


you can use sour cream or ranch to accompany if you like.

Potatoes are one of those ingredients that can appear to be pretty simple but in reality takes a lot of technique to cook properly. Try making Joel Robuchon's mashed potatoes for example. It's quite the process but completely worth it.

I love Asian food. It's my personal favorite cultural cuisine. I could eat Asian for the rest of my life and be perfectly content with it.

Had this for lunch, a dish my grandmother usually makes

It's skate fish with quinoa, the fish was (of course) cooked in butter, the smell gave me such huge flashbacks of staying at my grandmother's place in France during some summers
Shit was good, but it's definitely a once-in-a-month dish.
