I like her and have spoken with her in the past, however in regards to these gentlemen and ladies she's made a bad call in the past. I think even if in her opinion they were hacking it was a terrible judgement call to announce it to the server and trash them. If she has evidence submit it and ban them, if she doesn't have evidence don't make a comment.

In my personal opinion this entire `animalnamehere issue should be handled by another admin due to the bias that's been demonstrated towards them in the past.

the only thing there is that you and your group empty out the server, we want the servers to have people in them, not leaving because of clan is teamstacking and pubstomping. the server in question is probobly the most popular out of the rest of the servers excluding idle of course. We want the players to keep playing and encouraged to play on our servers and not to be discourage. If a newcomer came onto the server at the time of the team stacking they would probobly leave and not try to re-join

quickplay noobs on the other team

you probably don't realize you're also emptying out the server while playing there because, well, you're the one having fun and not getting your teeth kicked in.

we don't, however. we leave when bots show up, we don't win all the time... all this was already covered in the other thread, so i've really nothing say on it anymore.

also, tryhards. coming from the dude with the youtube channel where he tryhards in pubs as spy? c'mon, dude.

edit: we actually teamswap to the losing team if it's a roll! we like it to be generally fair.

  • Hacking (your main account will be banned if you are cheating with a spare account).
  • Using exploits (e.g., killing somebody with a flamethrower through a gate before the round has begun).
  • Any insults regarding race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Nobody on server being offended is not a loophole. This does not include simple discussion of these topics in an intellectual manner.
  • Scamming.
  • Admin impersonation.
  • Posting other people's personal and private information without proper consent.
  • Dodging (disconnecting and reconnecting to avoid being muted, gagged, banned, and/or kicked).
  • Sprays that are illegal as per the laws in the country where the server is located.
  • Harming your team for an extended period of time. (e.g., blocking sniper views, teleporter traps, refusing to help advance your teams position). The lobby servers are subject to stricter interpretation of this rule.
Nowhere in the rules is it against team stacking..copy and pasted directly from rules.

If clearing out servers got people banned, may as well throw my name up there because I make people ragequit all the time.

How about we take it from a different perspective. If you and your friends were just playing for fun and then a group of people come in and completley decimate you and your group what are you gona do? Leave obviosly and find another server. This is what is happening exactly. Now I dont really play on dustbowl texas but I do know that people go there to have fun and chat with friends and you and your group is discouraging that type of behavior by stopping their fun even though it is not your intention of doing so but this is how other people are perceiving it

When I was recent to skial servers they were one of the reasons I liked playing either 2fort or dustbowl I like how they act and how they play they are both fun to play against or with even if it was only one or two of them on and one the only reason I remember playing with them is because of their unique naming scheme

I never said it was in the rules, I know for a fact it wasnt in the rules, but this is a touchy subject and im only putting in my input and opinion
 
well as we all know these guys got banned because Lady Violet was mad that she was getting owned

I mean because if you're getting owned by a kritz'd demo on Dustbowl they're obviously cheaters and should probably be banned so that you don't have to play against them any more.

right?

the fact that she continues to complain about it as evidenced in a status update by her a while back as well as her chat logs is further evidence that she merely enacted the initial bans (undone by Bottiger) to punish them for playing well.

I wish I could get away with banning people that kicked my ass

I reiterate my previous point that you people might be annoyed by their antics, but they aren't against the rules. You're supposed to be pissing everyone on the opposing team off - that's the point of a competitive(loosely used of course) video game.

and I realize I didn't answer your question, but no - I would stay because I enjoy getting better, and you don't get better from stomping baddies, you get good from playing people better than you. Not everyone goes into games with the idea "LOL IM GOING TO PWN SOME NOOBS AND RAISE MY RANK FROM #3 TO #1." Some people enjoy competition, and it seems that's all these gentlemen and ladies are offering.

And since close to nobody in this thread actually knows what happens, I'm going to disregard everything said.
Your group has two choices.

Leave me, and my friends alone. Or I will do everything in my power to make your life on skial a living hell. I don't care if it costs my my adminship or not, you're not going to fuck with me or my friends. You're free to play on any server you want, save for the ones (I know you have them bookmarked) That you know me and my kgb friends you hate so much play on. Which is two servers, at very specific times.

Or, Leave skial entirely.

you make it sound like we're a 6-man strong group. it's only 3 of us. & actually, we help the losing team more often than not after a round, like i said. also we don't leave, it just makes us try a little harder. nothing wrong with a challenge.

I see your point about the game being competitive but still we dont want people leaving the servers. I know they wont get banned and I knew from the start they wouldent but as I said before it was only my opinion. The final verdict of all of this will probobly be done by bottiger himself
