Some guy complained about people wall hacking when in fact they were not. The guy he said was is a great player and I know damn well he wasn't "wall hacking". I please ask you to bring 3rd person back. Plenty of me and my friends play in only 3rd person and it's throwing off our game. Please.. bring back 3rd person... we don't want to leave skial servers, but we will.

why not... give a valid reason for the admin to see.. so far I've seen nothing but insults and bitching. So just leave a valid statement that doesn't require insulting us and maybe if you're a good little boy the admins will remove it permaenetly.

1)There have already been cases where 3rd person was confused with wallhacking
2) This game's a FIRST person shooter, not a TPS

The reason we don't have posts is because we don't post here often, but we've puts hundreds of hours in on the servers, so we're not new.

If you don't play 2fort, then why are you arguing to remove something from 2fort? Shouldn't the people who play it have a say?

I understand your point Firekip. Maybe most people agree with you, maybe not. Can't we do a vote or something?

Has anyone addressed the point that you can enter third person buy typing ! 3 or / 3 and that ! 3 gets spammed in chat log and on screen but / 3 does not?
Has anyone pointed out that when asked to used / 3 versus ! 3 to prevent the spam the reply is typically "screw you"?

Someone doesn't know how "Log in through Steam" works.

I'd like to see 3rd person make a return to the servers. At least to the 2fort servers if the other servers are that dead set against it.
 
Dood all I do is 2Fort. I can argue about anything on that map and be right most of the time. Like Firekip said, !3 is an added benefit. If someone decides to abuse it, and the feature gets taken away, you've had your fun with it.

Go back to playing TF2, the FIRST person shooter.

I don't understand what you mean by "abusing" it. How can it be abused and did someone abuse it?

I think it's mostly about reports of wallhacks which turned out to simply be players utilizing the third person view. It was hard to see if it really was a hack or not, so Skial removed it because it was a pain in the ass for admins.
 
i dont like the fact that 3rd person was removed. i personally loved it, and it was stupid and pointless to remove it. there isnt any good reason why it was removed. and what also pisses me off more is how immature the skial people were acting in this thread, not taking it seriously. i was in the 2fort server, and all i heard was "im probably leaving the skial community because they removed 3rd person, but more because of how immature theyre acting"

bring it back, for skial's own good. or it will probably lose a lot of members.
 
Theres not point for Thirdperson except for trolling its only useful on Deathrun because its fun to charge around as demoknight in thirdperson.
