Thank you all. It will take awhile to get used to this new account, not having the basic TF2 items, and not having my stuff that I paid for... But all in all, all of you have been so generous and kind with your offers to give items/games to me if I want you to. But to be honest, I really don't want you to, I don't expect you to forfeit items that you've gotten yourself for someone who was so hardly fucked over by Valve.

Also, to Valve, your VAC "policy" is beyond autistic and retarded.

Though I'd put the blame on your stupidity however. Valve is God, but don't expect them to risk their own money for your stupidity, obsessivly blind towards trading and whatnot. This is why I'd much rather play on TF2 than trade, while trading is fun and can lead to a *fairly mediocre* source of income, the risks as a centralized currency are too high. You lost what you lost and unless you can convince them to unban you (I wonder how Bottiger's handled that), you're probably gonna have to get over it and... rebuy your games? Ouch. Speaking of trading, did you happen to keep track of your items on a website? I recall seeing a site that actually does show and track EVERY TF2 item in existance.

Edit: Apparently you guys can't like, tell the difference between someone posting dumb shit and being an asshole. Hahaha.

I have been using the same manual aimbot for years... it's completely undetectable by VAC or any other anti-cheat program.

Yeah, you were definitely hacked, no doubt about it. If you submit a steam ticket to valve, usually you get your items back, or maybe that's just with unusuals - not sure about that. Nevertheless, I wouldn't stress about it, it's either you get your items back or the community will give you what you lost. ;)

btw, the hacker might be in control of your account. Change your password and your email ASAP

I know this aint much but its some thing that I hold near and dear to me as I have had this set since my first non f2p match started. I would like to give you my clean and strange tank buster soldier set which comes with a clean hat a black box with robots killed and cloked spys killed, a clean back up, and a strange escape plan.

Thanks guys, so much. I don't feel like I just started the game anymore... It's still funny how I get an easy achievement while I am dominating three people and someone asks, "Void, how long have you been playing this game?!"

Personally I think if I was wrongfully banned and didn't get refunded for the items or games, or had access to the game I bought - I'd never buy a steam/valve game again.

You said that items were gone, could this just have been a hacker that got access to your account and stole them for a profit? But why would you get VAC-banned for that, unless he actually used your account to cheat..

Or is it certain scenarios when Valve will actually delete items with a vac-ban?

(I'm pretty clueless about VAC-bans, but I would like to hear your thoughts about the actual trigger.)

Any items you didn't purchase from the store get deleted when you get vac banned.

I doubt you are going to get unbanned. Valve never tells the person why they got vac banned and they sure as hell never remove a VAC ban. There really isn't any way you can prove your innocence. I am sure tons of people send steam a message "I never hacked before this is a mistake"

I believe a game company should be vigilant in its search for cheaters however they should also be willing to give an explanation, even if it's a fairly broad general one. Nevertheless, I ponder to myself.. why on earth would they do such a lavish thing when they know people will simply create a new account?
