Valve never reveals information because hackers can use that information to better make their hacks undetectable. This is probrably why they never unban and never tell anyone the exact reason as to why they got banned.
I can understand not giving an exact reason but it sounds like Valve is taking it too serious if you ask me. We all know that no matter how many people you ban or catch cheating, there will always be a new aimbot or a wallhack and it's just a matter of time before it gets caught.Valve never reveals information because hackers can use that information to better make their hacks undetectable. Alright so lets just say valve does care about their reputation. In my opinion, they don't. Why? Well for starters, this thread is good proof they don't care. If their VAC bans are final and they provide no explanation AND no real chance to defend your case, what proof is there that they give a damn? Just because the VAC bans are wrong only .01% of the time doesn't justify sticking it to everyone that gets one.If I would guess, Valve takes it so serious because otherwise it would be a penalty on their reputation as a company.
Valve as a company has a few main interest, two of them is having a overall positive reputation (extremely valuable in the current competition) and having players spend money on their products. VAC is maintained to satisfy both of these interests. Their reputation will be positive because they work against those that will harm the gameplay of others (reputation in media, other companies, users, all of these are important), and people will be more likely to pay for games and in-game purchases if the game isn't filled with hackers.

that percentage is wrong. I've been searching for others like me, and there are many, many more false positives.
Well how many of them are honestly false positives? You know some hackers will stick with that till the endthat percentage is wrong. I've been searching for others like me, and there are many, many more false positives.

just take it as "even with a .01% error margin, it doesn't justify…"that percentage is wrong. I've been searching for others like me, and there are many, many more false positives.
So this incident taught you nothing, didn't it?Having my birthday a few days after got me some money to waste on items.
Thank you guys for your support. All the item donations got me back on track, then having my birthday a few days after got me some money to waste on items.
I've built up some nice loadouts:

And no, Valve has not responded to my ticket, and I doubt they will. I'm just glad I was able to rebuild after such a horrible thing. Thanks for the support though guys :D

What's the chance of this account being false positived as well? it's like the chance of being hit by lightning twice.
