I agree with the reg stacking, sure, but are most if any of us part of a truely competitive team? No most of us are average skill players, most of them are on competitive teams from what ive read and can currently remember, which all it takes is two people from a competitive level to clear out a server of pubbies like most of us are. I also kinda agree with the intent bit, sure if they left and went to another server after the one they where in cleared out because of the above effect, then came back and didn't immediately start rolling the other team again, as they did previously to which again the server emptys out, i would say they arnt doing it on purpose, but that is what they have done on several ocations, a couple of times in a row when i was going for 1000points plus, So im agreeing with the ban because from what ive seen from them this is what they have been doing.

what if, now here me out now, there was a group of regs on a server that got really good together, and i know this is wild but here me out, what if they really like that map and thier ping to that server and they've played there and even know the dudes they don't have friended there. What if these friends... played on a small time comp team together, like our admins tried, or several other handfuls of regs, like sandvich's regs or maybe the teams classy/faron are one. what if, they all played together.


oh shiiiiiiieeeet. What if they were so good they got thier own pockets. oemmmmgeeeee.

Fuck, the highlander team i'm on right now, we aren't all super awesome crazy but if it's just us on with none of the other good regs people start ragequitting pretty fucking fast. and you know what happens when turbine drops under 20 people for the group of us? I get bored, i leave. We all leave and trickle out. Server pop drops because 6-9 people just left the game at once. We come back when it's full, hopefully more good regs are on. Sometimes they are. This can happen several times on a weekend. Because we don't get a chance to play together, and we'll follow eachother into servers so we can play together.

This is not uncommon. Also, you'll find that people take breaks. You know, 1hour of tf2. break, another hour, break, another hour, break.

I believe the reason they targeted Skial's Dustbowl server was to bully KGB members, as this is not a new passtime by IFA2 members toward rival teams.

I'm afraid this whole affair is a terrible crossover from the drama of the UGC competitive community, so I apologize that Skial was swept up into the mix. However these guys aren't fooling anyone on our end - we know exactly who they are, where they're from, the shit they've done, and have contacted who we need to about the matter. So while KGB has no authority over Skial servers (so anything we do on UGC's end won't affect anything here), I can vouch that these guys are assholes and purposefully pubstomped Dustbowl with the sole intention of making everyone else's lives on there miserable.

+1 also, the bestest thing about playing in turbine for so long is finding new good people that show up. THEY'RE SO FANCY. we have a new guy with a jump.it tag that rolls sniper. he's the new best thing that's ever made me rage.

we only play at like, 3am. I doubt we've cleared it out that much at that time.
edit: also, isn't griefing done with intent? & you say 'competitive' like it means something, there are some absolutely awful people that play comp.

3am is when turbine starts to thin out, also yep, technically cinic plays comp. so does ruelel and headful. hell i do, lord knows i'm not good.

Even if they were the cause of the server emptying why would they continue playing against bots I know when I play and it gets late I usually leave when the server is mostly bots.

Also about you getting pissy with what im saying about forcing a server empty, at least how i understand what your typing. Im in no way saying that competitive players should only play against other competitive players or even that they shouldn't play in groups and on the same team, what im saying is that THESE people have purposely come into a server to all get on one team(stacking? no. friends wanting to stick with eachother? sure) not at all a problem there, its them going to several different servers, face rolling the other team constantly and making people quit the server, then moving on to another server to do it again, i know they've done this because during one of my attempts at 2k points they've come in and soon almost everyone on the team where raging about their bullshit, then quit, several times in one day.

And yeah i know its not uncommon for people to take breaks, but that isn't what they where doing from what i can tell.

Vic isnt a reg, at least from what ive seen, only ever seen Vic 2-3 times since i started playing on skial servers, and only because a reg asked them to join (i assume) those few times. So no that wasnt an old reg making shit up, im inclined to believe that this is some petty shit that internet butthurticus has caused.
