Need Supporters Remove the Death Run maps on Saxton Hale

Recently, these maps were added, the vsh_dr_ect.

But the problem is....


There's barely if not NO vsh maps being played because of people nominating this crap ALL THE TIME. Plus when they do get voted in, they get rtv'd in less than 10-20 minutes to a NEW death run map which gets rtv'd in 10-20 minutes to a NEW death run map and so on..

It's pissing me off and pushing me away from the server.

A lot of regulars just leave the server and wait until death run passes... if it ever does

Tell me, why did you add this hell to the nomination list. Now its an abomination list.


Ideas brainstormed so far:

IDEA 1:
Only be able to vote for ANY death run maps once every like, 5-10 voting periods.

Sure, i'll admit its a fun little game, death run, but the reason its bad is because its the only damn thing being played on the server 24/7

IDEA 2: have a tf2ware/deathrun rotation on the tf2ware server

no, make the VSH map rotation devoid of DR_, if people want DR_ (if it's as popular as people say it is, no love is found on the forums at least) then it could be a separate server.

It is clear that deathrun maps are even more popular than regular saxton right now.

Maybe I will consider making a separate server for it. It didn't make sense before when I didn't know how well it would work out. But you have to face the fact that the majority of people are voting for it, and there are dozens of vanilla Saxton servers out there.

the EU VSH server usually only rolls on a DR_ server when it's the first one (the #4) or when there isn't a majority of the vote for ANY server (as in, each map gets about 25%~, in which case a map is randomly selected, usually DR_ or a custom map), other then that; there hasn't been a single DR_ round today (as opposed to a few yesterday).

not sure how it goes on the US server, maybe the maprotation only shows DR_ servers? or are people actually going out of their way to vote for DR_ maps? you could always take your chances on the EU server, but you would have to deal with the ping (and lots of jumpy scouts, trained by me personally).

Is that Aperture as the most popular? Or is it Other?
Also: Up to date? Because if you have seen the total time played of DR maps, from yesterday to today, you would see they greatly outnumber times voted in than other maps. Like Muttonchops said, this is VSH. Dr is technically VSH, but........no. It's not.

On the US version, DR maps are the only ones picked, despite the lack of people voting for them.
-EDIT- I may have just implied that DR maps are randomly selected because no map gets a majority vote. This is not the case. It is just that none of the regulars vote for them, but the ever-present non-regulars always do.

And the other saxton servers are filled with bunch of squeaking kids spazzing into their mics. Plus I really don't go on any other servers other than skial servers. If you do eventually make a server, its a win-win for everyone.
