May be late, but here is a nice factoid for you.

More than likely you have a low metabolism, meaning your body digests your food slower. People with a low metabolism need to watch what they eat in order to avoid weight gain. I'd suggest eating five times a day, but don't overdo it. Salad, white meat, and all that other healthy food is recommended. It will help out your metabolism and get those pounds burned off. Combine this and maybe an exercise bike and you can't go wrong.

hey maximum luck to you! I tried dieting to get in shape for summer season and it worked pretty well but with alot of discipline... heres the good news and bad news... ill start with bad.
bad news:
  • A lot of delicious things are bad for you, a mixture of carbs and fat is what tends to make a shitty diet... think a burger with fries or pizza..you wanna cut down on those..
  • salty delicious snacks will make you retain water and keep your weight up as well.. so don't go overboard
  • when at the beginning of losing weight you will have the hardest two weeks of your body fighting against you as to why your not feeding it the propper levels of all the stuff it was used to getting..
  • you will crave the bad stuff and thats why most people fail their diets or dont even come close to their goal
  • It takes time and continued discipline..
  • keep bread and rice to a minimum if you have to.. whole grain..
woo... that was rough.. now the good news lol
  • it doesnt take as long as you think.. but you will need some more excercise... a 5 day/week is optimal running and some plyo... (p90x you can "accquire" the videos) <- thats how i started
  • when you start losing weight it is a snowball effect.. first week 2 lbs second week 3 3d week 5 lbs and it keeps adding up
  • think of your body as a city... if you start cutting off the extra calories (resources) people will go into chaos and revolt (thats you feeln shitty and cravn bad food.) then slowly they will learn how to deal with the lower and better resources (better and healthier caloritic intake)
  • drink a cup of water before every meal... helps keep over eating in check
  • DO NOT order or fill your plate with the same amounts.. instead put half and eat/drink you need more put a bit more
  • you will feel excellent when you start seeing results and lucky for you, at your weight you will drop faster (I'm still talking a yearish time frame)
  • i read this already ... but learn how to cook or grill.. best thing you can do, get goot unprocessed food and soon enough you'll hate fries..
  • and if you have a friend who is in shape, tell him/her your goals im sure they would love to help you as a challenge to help you achieve your goals
best news after the first two weeks of being good you get ONE day a week of cheating.. this day for 12 hours ANYTHING goes. ive eaten 2 fried chickens fries and icecream in one day it doesnt matter but it stays within the day and only if youve been healthy the rest of the week. Goodluck and any messages will be answered :)

Hey man,
After doing (actual) wrestling in high school, I learned some useful weighloss relevant stuff:
First thing, water weight is not the weight you're looking to lose, you need to be hydrated to function properly, and the gain associated with hydrating is gonna be taken out naturally.
Secondly, going gluten free (as i've done for a while now) is mad helpful.
Gluten is found in most grains, like wheat and junk, and so breads and pastries and stuff all have it.
What it does is hold food together and make them "springier," but it also makes food sit in your stomach and you feel bloated and junk.
When you go gluten free food digests much quicker, and on the side you lose some weight.
I'm not saying to never eat bread, but to only cut back.
Best of luck man, I have no doubt you can do it.

Holy Shit tits bro, thats quite a challenge for yourself, I wish you the best of luck. I'm gonna try to lose some weight too :P

>Almost a month
>Has only lost 2 pounds
You're making more progress than me. I've only lost 10 pounds

How big were you when you started? The more weight you have the harder it is to get rid of it. And besides, 2 pounds is 2 pounds.
I started at 158
Also I dont want to seem like a dick but HOW THE FUCK DO YOU GET OVER 300 POUNDS BY THE AGE OF 14?
