Scarcely Lethal Noob
Skial Players of the World
I believe that cinema, although a well-selected and crafted map, has been majorly used to abuse the ability of having unfair and campy telefrag spots; not to mention the line that has invisible barriers and can also be used to an unfair advantage against new or experienced Hale players. The map is highly RED-sided, and Hale typically tanks tons of damage on here, with spammed rages that can't even help you escape majority of the time. The majority of people who enjoy this map for the sake of easy, unbalanced, and quite redundant rounds of rank grinding. This map has potential, but it can be very laggy for those with a lower-end PC, especially when the server has above 24 players, with a maximum of 32 total in the server.
Not only is it crammed, it is visually difficult to tell what is happening, as I've personally found a very consistent struggle of getting stuck on the very unclear objects that do not always bode well with the higher player counts, a thing that the rest of the maps deal with more sufficiently. I could be completely biased, but the map has a lot of flaws, with really only one room being the huge reason why it's so adored by the community; and of course it's the one where all the Engineers set up hoping they can get that sweet dopamine rush of getting 9000+ damage.
The map vsh_barnyard_b2, however, is the perfect candidate as a smooth replacement. It brings a nostalgic touch with a sort of ode to the beloved map, Harvest, a map that has been a classic with KOTH maps. With more movement, overall space, the aesthetics of a classic TF2 Map, perfect for October's Fall season, and the Saxton Hale-appropriate layout: I whole-heartedly believe that it's time for us all to move on from vsh_cinema for a change, even if it's just trying it out temporarily.
P.S. I typed this all out at 3AM and I am on the border of dissociation, so my writing probably seems extremely formal and overtly articulate, but I was just trying to get my point across. Please only vote and do not question my self-inflicted sleep deprivation.
