*Sigh* I could have seen the Flyers take a similar path if they had just held their own in the first round. Oh well, go LA I guess. Only option for me now

Even though the Blackhawks didn't win the cup they are still a great team in my book. Lucky as a fan to get a team like this. Eases the pain from the seasons of the Cubs, Bears and Bulls. Oh and the Kings can go to HELL! :)

Idk, besides the Cubbies Chicago has it pretty good. I wouldn't be that sad. At least your guys are not Cleveland
 
My parents are visiting the US so I decided to take my father to Red Wings home game against the defending champions LA Kings; and boy, have Red Wings given us a game?! First period - 4:0. Datsyuk and Nyquist were destroying Kings... Final score was 5:2 and even though RW failed miserably in second period, "The Magician" was great and Nyquist is a raising star. We've shown these champions how it's going down in Hockeytown!!!

My father is of this generation that remembers famous "Canada vs USSR" withstanding (he was a teen at that time); so he remembers Gordie Howe (he played with Phil Esposito) when he was playing for Canada against USSR. And he said it was a big honor for him to hold "Get well Gordie" sign today in support of Gordie Howe.... He kept "Get Well Gordie" sign as a souvenir.
