32 players on Jailbreak is more hectic and chaotic than fun. It gets clogged and just doesn't flow as well.
24 slots would be better, with a second jailbreak server.

Bring on the dumb ratings and -1's.

Well, I agree with 24 slots being more controllable but it may be too early for a second server. After a while though if we can alleviate some of the major issues I would be down with a second server.

They're tied together because if the server is changed to 24 slots, where will the other server regulars go? Not to mention the complaining / bitching.

Ratespam much?

That's just Void's way of saying he disagrees

In my opinion a second jailbreak server doesn't seem like a effective solution. The very few admins and moderators that dare to dwell there would now have to keep an eye on two servers. It just seems easier to moderate with it being one server in my opinion.

Plus it would probably have to take up a old server unless Bottiger is willing to pay for another server (which I'm assuming isn't cheap)

That's my 2 cents anyway

Okay, well what about just limiting it to 24 players? It would help tremendously in terms of gameplay.

There are two new Jailbreakmoderators. Plus 3 "old ones" and then there is Avenger and Grima, they play on that server and have applied for adminship. If we wait this out another month and relook it?

And who would they be? The Jailbreak staff list was removed from the forum staff thread for whatever reason, so I don't see any way to check.

That is not practical. You cannot expect one admin to be on 24/7.

*shrugs*
That is the only effective solution. Just popping in from reports section alone isn't always effective because unless it's from a trusted member, it's becomes a he said / she said argument. If you disagree, fine, suggest a better solution.
Also, many tf2 admins loath Jailbreak so they only come in fi they really have to.

There is no better solution. I think bottiger is working on a way to solve it, he is a genius when it comes to things like this. But we cannot rely or count on having an admin in that server 24/7. There isn't a single server anywhere on skial that has 24/7 admin support. If we were to make a lot of people moderators to achieve that goal, it will just make things worse. Now we have to baby sit all the jailbreak mods to make sure they are being fair. And handle all the reports.

Jailbreak problems in a nutshell. I'm not saying we should try to get 24/7 coverage, just that with all the problems stemming from jailbreak, it's the most viable solution that I can think of.

Anyways, back on topic, I still believe limiting it to 26 or 24 players is best for gameplay.
