Declined implement !votekick/ban/mute

apparently we have a lot of players who for some weird reason unaware of the !votemenu command, instead typing !votekick, !voteban, and !votemute.

maybe at the very least we need those to be actual commands to simply display a message that everything is handled through !votemenu

Yeah I gotta say it's not our fault people can't see a purple and green message that pops up every 5 seconds saying "type /votemenu for voting options" -lrn2read?

However, people do tend to write !votescramble, !votemute, !votekick, etc. all the time. Sometimes right after the /votemenu message is displayed.

Maybe they should try reading though it's not rocket science I don't really feel bad for anyone who cries about wanting a scramble and can't figure out why "!votecramble" isn't working whilst the message directly below is telling them there is an entire voting menu.

I should've added a joke option: "kick them for the reason Not reading the !votemenu messages":D
 
We should add a 3000 damage slap polite reminder in the biggest font possible across the middle of the votekick/ban/mute user's screen. 90% of pub players don't get it after repeated chat messages.
 
I don't see why we should, it's not hard to look at chat every once in awhile and see the big green and purple "/votemenu for voting options" that pops up every five minutes. Honestly, if they're too stupid to read chat, why should we dumb down the voting system for them? The only times I see votes are for scrambles, banning micspammer, or my personal favorite

Random player 1 has joined the game
Random player 1 "!voteban"
Random player 2 "Who are you trying to ban?"
Random player 1 "stfu fagt"
Random player 1 "!votekick"
Random player 3 "Dude it's !votemenu"
Random player 1 "vitmeun"
"Random player 1 has started a vote, ban Random player four for racism"
Random player 4 "The fuck did I do?"
Random player 1 "lol"
Random player 4 has been banned for thirty minutes, for racism, by ninty percent of the server.

I see at least four of those every night.
 
I think we should, I see people type !votekick, !voteban, etc all the time. Then they complain that we don't have any type of vote system.

Yes, I agree, it's a shame people can't see the freaking chat scroller, but they don't. I think it would benefit us in the long run to accommodate the people that are illiterate.

That's funny I don't even see the 90% vote pass when someone is blatantly hacking...

Funny isn't it? I've never once seen a hacker, racist, bigot, or just plan griefer get banned by players, but I've seen plenty of other votes pass.

Something about the mentality of players, they think it's perfectly fine to do those things.

What about just giving them direct access to the votes with those commands. !votescramble starts starts the vote.
