So a while ago I made a post stating that Im stuck in "Parsing game info", nobody replied, no answers anywhere that could solve my problem, i tried everything from reinstalling tf2, wiping my pc, I even tried connecting to the server from a different pc, and different city, and still nothing, same old parsing game info, I think I'll need to find a vpn or proxy service that is undetected by skial anti-vpn, or try playing on an alt steam account, I'll see whichever works and edit post here.

If Skial was blocking your connection, you wouldn't even make it to the parsing game info stage, you'd be immediately blocked.
 
Just to help anyone else that might find this from a Google search, this was caused by a custom config called mastercomfig.

In order to restore your game to original settings after messing around with your settings like this, you need to delete your entire tf2 directory and reinstall. Simply clicking verify game files will not work.
