hl2.exe crash

I only get a crash after 40 minutes of playing.

I heard the crashes are more frequent if you have nvidia.

I'm rockin' a GTX 560 Ti and I only had one night where the crashes were a problem. Other than that I haven't even had lag spikes.

I was told a fix buy a reg on dustbowl. The Pope. Disable dual core rendering. Has worked great so far! i was able to get into dustbowl for the first time in 3 days.

NVIDIA nForce 430 here. Having a shitty card feels bad man. Although crashes have been less frequent for me lately.
EDIT: I've always had multi-core disabled

yea same here, performance seems them same. mabe slight diffrences.
