If I may give my two cents about this...
I joined Skial right before we switched to the Xenforo forums. I joined mainly because of the friendly atmosphere that Bottiger has created.
Around that time, I was starting to get the names of the admins around here.
As I played more, I was starting to see some dramas develop over some petty squabble that could've been resolved with a simple "I'm sorry."
Some of these dramas have been started by CiNiC. From what I'm seeing, he's not a "Badmin" as some put it, he's just needs to know how to sympathize with some of the people here.
If he manages to see the world in their shoes, maybe he wouldn't have his admining powers revoked.

I don't know you, but I think Skial should keep its admins especially if they are doing a good job. Sure there will be disputes, but that doesn't matter if you are doing a good job at keeping hackers and spammers off the servers.

Per request and because Bottiger didn't respond to my asking if it would be okay for me to post it or not, I'll take it as a yes, I suppose.

"You banned that person for votespamming and made up an excuse saying you thought the alltalk vote was to kick you. 2 votes in 6 minutes isn't even close to votespamming. How many other bans from you were like this except the victim didn't complain about it? If we can't trust you to be fair on a ban like this, how can we trust your other bans?"
"You have had way too many warnings."

That's the official reason. An error, albeit an error on someone who would have been temp banned anyway, and in which both sides apologized and came to an understanding. I've actually been pretty friendly in all of Turo's topics on the forums all of yesterday.
Each major warning I've learned from and haven't had one in at least 3.5 months, I believe - longer than most of our admins have been around.

Edit: ._. Didn't see he posted it.

I leave for a day and CiNiC is no longer an admin? What happened?

Honestly i don't believe there is any question on wether or not Cinic is a good admin in the sense that he bans or removes players who are breaking the rules. Clearly he knows what is a violation of a rule, and removes players based on guidlines laid out by the owner of the servers. Granted having an "abbrasive" personality is not against the rules, but one side effect of portraying yourself that way in a video game is... wait for it.... here it comes..... people wont like you....
That aside if you are basing his removal on him not knowing server rules, and following the proper steps when it comes to handling violations of the rules then i believe you have made a mistake in removing him from the admin position.
Though if you are removing him because you are tired of people complaining, and fear his position as admin is causing more of headache then its worth then really i cant blame you. As someone who has been in a management position before, i can tell you it isnt always about work preformance. The other question you ask yourself is, "Is this person going to fit in with my current employees?". In other words, yes i know the work will get done, but i dont want to deal with the bullshit.

Why does everyone keep saying that this single guy and all of his actions represent Skial as a whole? He's one guy.
Why people say that officials like Joe Baden do represent USA? Because they were given power. Since they have power - they represent nation's interests. Same happens here, but in smaller scales. That's how I see it.
Going forward, nobody said it was just CiniC representing Skial. We were talking about whole admins' crew. And CiniC is (or was) a part of it.
~~saving sapce~~
In couple of words: "This employee sucks balls as a team member. So before my team falls apart, I'd better fire him".

The reason I was given for my removal was for me receiving too many warnings and giving out a ban - which would have been given out anyway - for the wrong reason. My personality wasn't at all mentioned in the reason for my removal.

If another admin were to give out the amount of bans I do, there isn't a single question in my mind that there would be tons of complaints for him/her.

I like to represent the "nation's" interest by getting rid of hackers and people breaking the rules as efficiently as possible. And everyone - even the people who dislike me and want me removed - agrees that I do that.

So do I. And I think that if you are going to change your attitude which is not always appropriate - nobody will have problems with you being an admin... I think when 30% of voters don't want you to be an admin - it's time to re-evaluate some things, isn't it?

30%..? The majority of those people, I GUARANTEE are voting based on their personal opinions of me and not based on my actions as admin. If that's the case, then they should vote for my BAN, and not removal as admin.
I've already stated that I have began talking substantially less, as people who have played with me recently saw - and that was before I discovered I wasn't admin any longer.

You'd think people would toughen up a bit. Trash talk is commonplace in FPS games, and it really shouldn't be confused with a bad attitude. Those who know me, should know I come across different in Minecraft then I do in TF2. But 99% of the time what I say in TF2 is just trash talk. It's probably the same with CiNiC and people should learn the difference.

I mean, we're not playing "Hello Kitty: Island Adventure" here.

How did you expect them to vote? Again, imho attitude towards people (e.g. ability to develop and maintain positive relationships) is as important as performing admin's duties. Some people consider playing in friendly, non-hostile environment even more important than the absence of spammers/vote abusers on the servers. You have to take it into consideration.

Well, apparently you begun implementing those changes too late...
