He was an long time standing admin before the giant flood occurred, it's a no brainer if he wants it back.
 
+1, I've been playing with him for a long while now and I think it's safe to say he'll be great as an admin. Also, I don't agree with the "pest" part at all. :)
 
I'd give him a +1 from when I used to play here, but as I don't I can't do that..I do have a question though.

Why is his forum behavior counting against him? I've been here to see some people who don't even have forum accounts get admin. As far as I know it's quite possible for him to get server admin but not forum admin..they are two separate entities, and someone's behavior in one, should not effect the other (with exceptions of course.)

And as Furry said, if you're going to give negative feedback on someone, it does help to be a little explanatory.

I got banned from TeamSpeak for "being obnoxious". Me and Alex went in and there were like 10 people on but no one was talking, so we tried to stir up conversation.

c i nci c ic i cnic ni cninc ended up making a private channel for literally everyone other than me and Alex, and then we made some temporary subchannels to communicate. That was the most annoying thing in the world, apparently..


..but that doesn't have anything to do with server admin things.
 
Yeah, if TS counts against your admin prowess you better round up all the admins that hang out in there and fire them cause ai have probably heard most or all be racist as a joke at least once.

Additionally, our admins represent the community 'authority', also on the forums. So we are not inclined to give admin who misbehave terribly by e.g. thread crapping or giving out a bunch of friendly ratings.

I don't see how your warning history is private information, your criminal record isn't private information either (or at least not here in Belgium). If any other admin/mod would have problems with it, they will edit it out anyway. Also, SourceBans isn't private either.

It is to point out that you have a history of making trouble time after time on the forums. Your forum attitude is independent from your server capacities, but not unimportant for the application process.

There wasn't much banning to be done in 2011, since I wasn't banning taunting players like cinic. "Bad" as a ban reason had something to do with quote marks.
