Even though Zebra "mysteriously" missed this offense (no punishment has been applied), I still think Grima is not an admin material.
 
Okay, everyone quit bashing eachother. First off, Psycho has every right to -1 this app because I DID break a forum rule (Drama/Leaving Thread) and that is his opinion. Secondly, can you guys take that fight of yours to unmod or something? It's necessary to bring things back up in the past to determine things in the present, so I can see why people are bringing up that Drama thread I made.

Did you receive a warning from and admin or mod on that post Grima? If you did not then how is it just Zebra and not any other admin not see this as a violation of the rules? I take the rule if you would have posted "Well LadyP said she was leaving skial" your post in my opinion was not like that. Once again this is my interpretation on the rule and your thread and sure others see it another way. Good luck with your app and still a +1 from me.

Honestly, I'm not sure. The only thing that happened was Ruelel locked the thread, and that was it.

If you dont remember if you received a warning point then I am sure you didn't. Your admin app has progressed through the selection process because you are a quality candidate. If you had any strikes or concerns over your past you would not have made it to this point.

While I could debate semantics by saying that anyone reading the thread could tell it was a "come back" thread, I'll concede for the sake of ease of understanding that it did indeed break that rule.

So, Grima broke a rule. The admins may/may not have taken some private action. Let's assume that they did. Isn't the point of punishments to help correct mistakes? Else it would be permas for everyone who crossed a line.
We remember the mistakes yes, but why should a minor forum rule be cause for denying a TF2 admin app?
If Grima had put it in Unmod, it wouldn't have broken any rules. If you're willing to punish someone who committed a minor offense by saying he shouldn't be admin, that's your business. I disagree with your reasoning(because to me Grima has improved his behavior) but I respect your opinion. I simply disagree with your assessment.
 
Why am I personally being blamed again? We have a number of other mods and forum admins that could of handled that thread, yet it is my fault? I can't see everything, and I don't spend my time looking through all the sections of the forum reading every thread.

Grima has been a huge help in JB and I have not seen or heard of anything negative about him or his ethics. If you are disproving of this because of one topic he made almost three months ago, than you really need to rethink your attitude. If we didn't make someone an admin based on one offense, than you might not of had ruelel or cinic as admins. Who are arguable one of the best admins.

Grima is a good choice and has my support.

I want to keep throwing +1's at this until this gets approved. This has to be one of the best Admin apps iv seen on how people treats things. I can't love Grima enough.

(This is no offense to any one else who is applying for admin. But he just got attacked and won easily. It's not often you see that in an application AND see the person who is applying take it so well.)

Can I just +4234892378492378593786348756859 this and say he gets admin? :yuno:
 
If that thread is really the only bad thing one can say about Grima then I don't see why he shouldn't be admin. Everyone makes mistakes and breaks the rules as a result on occasion, that's part of joining/being in a community. Sure, I think making a thread like that is unnecessary since it drags several people into an issue they shouldn't be involved with, but on the other hand I don't think Grima was trying to cause trouble with that thread based on the context of his OP. Anyone is obliged to make what they want of that situation but I don't think it's so bad that it should warrant a denial of his application.
EDIT: Oh yeah this is a +1 by the way.
