Actually let's bring this up because no one has said anything about it: When does life start? I believe it starts at conception and EVERYONE HERE WAS CONCEIVED! No conception, no baby. Yet abortions happen during the pregnancy which is after the conception. So essentially it is murder of another life

Do you guys think a child with a pre-born defomity should be aborted for it's own sake?
Just asking for opinions here.

Life begins when it can be independent of the mothers body. The End.

So we leave the baby after it is born? Yeah, it can feed, clean, and care for itself. Come on, it is the most defenseless form of life in this world and people decide its fate before it can become independent.

Define deformity. If the child is going to struggle just to stay alive and has deformities that would further harm their well being, then yes.

If the child has a slight disability or deformity like polydactyl or something then I don't really feel like the kid should be. But then again the final choice is up to the woman.

It's all a case-by-case basis, there is no 100% answer.

Pretty much like any other animal. Yet we slaughter them because who gives a fuck anyway.

I didn't say that. There are other options after it is born? Adoption...?

Most babies with deformities die before it can be born. That is a miscarriage. If they are born, then let is have life for as long as it can. All life is sacred

Uh. because ~*~SURPRISE~*~ NOT EVERY WOMAN WANTS TO GO THROUGH PREGNANCY.
They chose to have sex. They have to live with the consequences of their choice. That is also true for abortion which, by the way, most women have emotional trauma after an abortion.

In my ideal world the child decides whether or not they want to live which is a stupid thing to say but really, neither parent can decide if somebody can live once the initial conception happens. I mean that'd sorta be like, hey lets fuck and then yoooo there's a kid coming oh no let's kill it before we get too attached.

1/5 (roughly) with defects die before birth. That's 20% compared to 80% who live with it.

A life that is full of pain and suffering for a child and their parents, especially those kids with a very small life expectancy, is less humane than abortion in my eyes. It's like putting down a beloved pet: the choice is hard, but it's better than having then live with it.

I'm suprised no-one has brought up the childs point of view yet.

Should the child have to live with a depressed / abusive family? Should they have to go through the pain of feeling unwanted in an adoption centre?
