Really a permaban for that?Using/advertising hacks, even joking, is against the rules. You should get a perma-ban.
Why would you warn someone against something that isn't against the rules, and why would you ban someone for something that does not take place on the servers?Making threats against skial/admins is a punishable offense, but not players. Ren gets a big warning at first, and a ban only if she goes through with it.
CorrectUpper reports Metroidz for playing this song over voice in Hightower US with reasonable quality and volume. Should he be issued a punishment by an admin? If so, why?
- Nothing wrong with this song over Hightower voice. It should be left to a server vote and Upper should be reminded of the mute/ignore feature. IF the song was inapproriate (N--R word) Metroidz would be punished for a racist song; IF the song was earrape levels, it would be a silence. Since it is what it is, no action necessary, game on.
Advertising hacks seriously or as a joke is a permanent ban, it has been for a while, but can be appealed if player states they will not advertise cheats again. It depends a lot on the context of the situation, most will warn players first before issuing a ban, or not take action at all depending on the situation. You're on Payload+ US and I says in chat "I should re-download lmaobox, brb". Should I be issued a punishment by an admin? If so, why?

Reasoning is correct, but for vote abuse sm_silence is necessary, not a ban.Toxik reports Feral Angel for abusing vote-ban on him. Toxik says Feral's reasoning for calling the vote was because he killed her. Should she be issued a punishment by an admin? If so, why?
Look into Feral's voteban reasoning - if it really was just because Toxik killed her, it's vote abuse. She can sit out for a day and cool off.

We don't punish/warn players for threatening to DDOS other players, only if players threaten staff or servers, especially servers. It is more difficult to obtain a private IP address than it is just pulling up Skial's server list for our public IPs, and we can't easily verify if a player is serious about the threat against the other player. On Bottiger's 24/7 Idle/Trade, Ren threatens to DDOS ManaPig in chat. Should she be issued a punishment by an admin? If so, why?

I think you misunderstand, you can't Ddos an individual on a server, you would need to attack their private ip and this couldn't be done through Skial severs. Using admin powers on the server to punish for something done off the server is not allowed. Is she attacking this person while on the trade server? Not the threat because that isn't against the rules. If she followed through with the threat and was DDOSing this individual, I should think it's bannable.
Mentioning anything by name is in some way an advertisement. It's not a link to get it, true.
