My point isn't even really related on my position on the matter. As per previous observations, Bottiger rarely deals in gray areas and this is one of those areas, plain and simple. I would be very surprised if he changes anything.

I've been around Bottiger more than you have, I'm sure. If he wants to say something in this thread, he will in his own time. I am not going to argue with you over your speculation of what he will consider a "gray area".
 
-1 unmod was made to be a shitpit, and you might as well remove it if you're gonna put rules there as it would take away the original purpose

So that means that if Johnny is being a huge dick for some reason and I want to call him out on it via shitposting, I could only message him and eventually add a few people I want to also see the conversation?
I don't know, I just really feel like there is no need to remove unmod for any reason, we've never had a problem with it until now

because, as i have said before, i think that any and all rule-breakers should have no place in Skial community.

Well, that would be amazing if we lived in a perfect world. Unfortunately, we are a gaming community centered around TF2, a game that probably has as many kids as people over 20.
Like I just told Cinic, we need an output for all the shit that flows through Skial. Unmod is that output. Remove the output, and all the shit stacks up until we overflow. I just don't see the pros of deleting unmod versus its cons.

and I will say again, I do NOT want unmod removed. I want unmod to have the same rules as the rest of the forum sans "shit posting"
i AGREE that people should have a place to go, outside of the general sections, to post grievances with other people without backlash from admins/the community as a whole
i DISAGREE with having a place where people are able to go and spout racist slurs on every little whim they have when we, as a community, are VERY big on our "no racism" rule.

I am done responding to this thread, I have stated my opinon time and again. If Bottiger decides to change the rules, awesome. If not, whatevs.
