Aydind
Uncharitable Spy
Me and a friend were shopping about in Stevenage today, I came across a black homeless man sitting on the floor with nothing, he was looking for food on the floor to eat. My mate carried on walking, not realising I had stopped, I felt like I needed to help him. And so I pulled out a tenner, crouched down to him and I asked him; "What would this £10 note mean to you?".. he replied; "As long as it keeps me going another day, I'm a happy man".. I gave him the £10 note and told him to go treat himself, he shook my hand, smiled and said "God bless you brother". Other people had stopped and started to clap for me, I didn't really know how to respond to that.
It made me feel a better person by doing what I did. Now I know £10 isn't much, but to him it felt like £1000 and I was glad that I could help him out.
