Why is he still being considered? He has good play time, a bunch of people to vouch for him and +1 him, he even got the quesstion that Maddo right.

Is it that there are to many admins for 2fort, he said he is a regular.
 
BRASSIE is on Skial quite a lot and he always helps with trouble makers and abusive players. He always helps me out when people are being trolls (mean peoples e.g. unholygaming). He is a very serious but also has a very good sense of humor. I 100% percent think he would be an amazing admin for the server.

Its obvious brassie is a popular, friendly and capable person- perfect for the admin position. We need an admin on 2fort as I said earlier. I have been checking this thread every week since I was first told about it, and surely it has been long enough?

And before you all start telling people to use report- I have tried the report before, many times. Only 1 has ever passed, and by the time a admin got here the hacker had gone. It would be much better and easier if there was a regular admin surely?

When players on your servers are being racist or hacking, others turn for brassie to help. He always tells an admin or creates a report which always get passed. An example is this: http://www.skial.com/threads/unholygaming2012-youtube-name-racism-and-general-idiocy.35565/ . Wuldnt it would be easier for him to just ban them straight away?

I'm an admin over on the Lotus servers (I've worked with kitten a few times to jointly handle some hackers), and I wanted to pass along some information that came to my attention about this individual today.

Brassies has been accused of griefing on our servers (relevant thread, still under review with demos, available here), and as you can see from his current name , acting quite the child.

Now, someone is certainly welcome to dislike the Lotus servers and even voice that (although I don't know his particular issue), but it's also worth considering that if he is willing to act this way when he thinks there is no repercussion, he might not do well being handed power on your servers.

After review of the demos there was no substance to the accusations. I'll leave it up to this community to decide if it was the same person or his cousin.

To the people who keep asking why it hasn't been approved yet, it's most likely due to there being enough admins in his timezone.

Ok, so it looks like i have got a lot to explain here...

I am not a racist. Never have been, never will be.

This was not me on their server- I have been at the hospital all day because I have really bad acid reflux (It makes me violently ill sometimes). The only two people with access to my computer are my brother and my cousin. When I go out, I tend to leave my PC on, usually as I am downloading a torrent or something. I will admit that I have been on LotusClan servers before with a tryhard name- but I have never been racist or used racial slurs.

From the demo provided, it looks a lot like it was my cousin trolling the server, who has left to go home, back down in Buckinghamshire now. When he is contactable, I will ask him if he did this- because it makes me look bad, and the whole of the community look bad.

To LotusClan: I am SO sorry that this has happened. Anyone who knows me will tell you that this is not the kind of thing that I do. I am deeply embarrased, ashamed that this has happened under my name. the two others WERE in my friends list. I have deleted them as of now.

Let's not make this into a witchhunt. I believe him. Also, now that I've thoroughly reviewed the demos I can confirm there was no substance to the accusations. I"ll update my OP as well.

Once I confirm it was a false report I'll also be banning the person who accused you from all Lotus servers.

My only other thought is that you'll want to make sure your computer isn't unlocked if you have admin as your "cousin" could abuse those privileges

Is there any way we could change this back to considering please?
(I have cleared my name with lotusclan now, they know it wasnt me)

I didn't change it however i am concerned. You leave your computer on, so anyone can access it. If he can go around being racist on other servers, what would he do if he knew you had admin powers on our servers?

Even if he didn't know you were an admin and came on your account being racist on our servers. That looks bad for the skial admins.

You hurt yourself with this. This is not a risk i want to take.

Usually, I have my account password protected. I do now too. The only reason it wasn't is because I recently had to reinstall windows. I aint the kind of person who lets anyone access my computer. This was a mistake. A mistake that is not going to happen again.

Kinda a silly remark, any of the admins could get hacked. And when a cousin hacks you, you need to remove him from your family.

Any way around, i don't know how mutch of the stuff that happend is true, but it doesn't look positive to me... Or you or someone who managed to get on your account messed stuff up, and it could happen again

What I'm trying to say, is that I have re installed windows and not had a chance to set up the user accounts yet. The reason that this whole fiasco happened is because I had not put a password on my user account, but I do now. I am struggling to see how this counts against my application, it is never going to happen again.
 
I dont see this as an issue. Any family member could jump on any admins computer in an isolated incident which is what this was. Unless you wanna look like a paranoid freak locking down your computer everytime you have to take a shit some stuff is going to happen. If he had a pattern of questionable behavior then yeah I would be worried.
 
i didn't watch the demo on the Lotus site, but i believe Brassie when he say it wasn't him.

i also agree with this. any accounts for any game should be personal, admin or not.
but when you are admin, you have to be 200% sure only you can acces your account.

So yes, brassie made a mistake, but i think he learned from this and still can be admin in the future.
