Declined Decide on a minimum admin age

We can't keep pretending that age is not a factor in admin applications. Let's face it, we're not going to allow an 11 years old kid to be in a position of power on the Skial servers, so why don't we decide on a minimum age for admin applications?

15, it's the age when youngsters start to become reliable imo.

Also, inb4 Cats "21 AND UP EVERYTHING ELSE IS IMMATURE FUCK SHIT"
 
besides, if memory serves correctly, the game is supposed to be rated M (esrb rating) meaning 17+ or its equivalent depending on country of origin
 
And how exactly do you propose we check the age of the person who applied to make sure its true or not?

Yes but most users of the game are younger and since the game is f2p there really is no stopping a 10 year old from installing the game

that doesnt mean they should be in a position of power for a game they shouldnt even be playing in the first place (technically)
 
If we say a minimum age then people are going to lie. I'd rather not have to go sleuthing to see if they'll tell the truth. Also, as we've seen in a lot of people, you can be 40 years old and act like a 12 year old.
 
Age restrictions on admin are very stupid. It's already hard to get admin on Skial - people have to get a fuck ton of vouches from regs on the server, bott has to agree, and they have to be needed in the time zone. If a 9 year old gets all of the regs from his server to vouch for him, and Bott thinks he'd make a good admin, he should get it. As someone said above 40 year olds can act worse than 12 year olds, it's not a question of age, it's a question of maturity. Some people are more mature than others, and age is not an indication of maturity.
