Hi!
I'd like to report an admin who falsely muted and gagged me for a WHOLE WEEK because we got in argument. he server discussion turned intellectual and we talked about our political views, and me and the player in question got into a pretty heated debate. Afterwards, he left the server for some time to cool down. After he got back, I figured out that he had muted and gagged me for a week for "racism!" This is my favorite server! I would never say anything racist in there and I never have. ESPECIALLY if I just got into an argument with one of the admins. After I found out I was muted I tried to trade him four times so we could talk it out in trade chat but each time he just let the timer go down while he talked to the other players in the server. He clearly had no interest in my defense or any rational discussion at that point. He just wanted to hurt me for what I said to him. I love this server so much and I wish I could play on it again without shut up by an abusive admin. Please look into his actions and make the right decision. Thank you for hearing me out. Skial is really one of the only places where an appeal like this will actually be listened to, one of the many reasons I love playing on the servers.

Therefore no one has abused theirs powers against you, marking this invalid.

Thanks Luke for responding. Perhaps the mute is valid, even if it wouldn't have happened if he hadn't told me that "people like me are destroying the fucking planet" about five minutes before, but here's a few other rules he has broken.

"Harming your team for an extended period of time.

• Examples: blocking sniper views
• Teleporter traps
• Refusing to help advance your teams position for a long time (usually known as Friendlying)

Exploiting Examples: Killing someone behind the gate before the game starts. Bypassing the afk manager."

This is a quote from the server rules. The bolded terms are rules that Prophet Potential is a serial abuser of. Just last night he bypassed the AFK manager by typing +forward and +right into his console and stepped out for 3 or 4 hours WHILE micspamming. The "friendlying" part is because even when he is active he's usually hovering towards the top of the world out of sight, refusing to help his team's position. I understand that this particular example might not necessarily apply to moderators, but I find it obnoxious when there are four sentry guns outside the spawn door and he's either afk or sitting still.

Unless you have evidence there is nothing we can do about these accusations. But on a trade server, its impossible to break the rule "refusing to help your team advance" because the only objective on that server is to trade. That rule is in place for non-trade servers where there is an objective like capping the point and the person is just sitting in spawn taunting.

Good to know. There were around 30 players in the server at the time and I'm sure quite a few of them attempted to speak to him at the time. In the future, I will be recording every time I join the server so this type of abuse can't happen again.
