Well, as long as it's paid by your company - why not? It also shows your commitment, Zebs. I means it looks nice on resume since it shows that you are ready to grow based on demands your employer has. I have to point out, however, that vendor certifications are usually low-tier certificates and will not grant you position higher than Help Desk. I'm telling you that so you wouldn't relax and stop advancing.
Enterprise level certifications - that's what you should aim for. While I saw no benefit from my MCSE I definitely saw positive comeback from my CCNA and CCNP (even though I haven't worked in networking for 3 years now - even forgot how to subnet in mind). When I got my CCA (Citrix Certified Administrator) and updated my LinkedIn profile - I got literally spammed by interview invitations.
Just don't stop on this MAC cert - keep advancing.
Good job.
