Title^ :3 Like which game got you into online gaming or pretty much your first. There might be a thread out there like this, but I couldn't find it so DEAL WITH IT

Mine was Star Wars Battlefront THE ORIGINAL I remember playing when I was 10 and I felt like such a bad ass playing a teen game at 10 :fyeah:

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon/Rainbow Six back on MSN Gaming Zone or whatever it was called, followed by Quake 2 in a similar fashion.

It was Team Fortress Classic funnily enough. My cousin had a copy and played it on his computer often, being the young curious Mocha I was, I went on his computer while he was out with his girl and attempted a few rounds. Got rolled on hard since I was so used to console games and could barely use a keyboard normally at the time.

Wolfenstein Enemy Territory
Made so many friends since 2008, half of em aren't around now

Still a fantastic game, I have it installed on my Linux gaming machine.

My first two games that I really got into on LANs were Command & Conquer and Warcraft. First online game was Delta Force 2, running a sniper tag-team with my brother in law. We would switch off being sniper while the other acted as a forward observer. You could get insanely long sniper shots in that game. I love my brother in law. :win:

As a bit of trivia, my first ever game was a Lord of the Rings text-based deal on my dad's old Apple IIe. I was 5. It blew my mind.

My girlfriend is currently getting accustomed to TF2 and loves the game but has the same complaint about the keyboard. She mostly plays console and sometimes some strategy games like Warcraft or Age of Empires on computer, but never any shooters. After she got semi-used to the movement keys, she is surprisingly pretty damn good for a noob.
